I left Brazil for Rome to experience this wonderful cuisine, and it's simply everything they say! A perfect restaurant, impeccable service, and excellent pizza!

I had a really good dinner. Friendly and helpful service, dishes cooked with care. The fried food was fragrant, the cod cooked very well. You have to try the amberjack meatballs! Fantastic! Tonnarelli cacio e pepe very tasty I recommend the lemon sorbet. Never eaten so good! It will be a regular stop for me when I return to Rome

Pranzato qui causa attività da svolgere presso il Foro Italico, pasta nella media, così come l’antipasto, eccezionale la carne seppur con prezzi importanti, sicuramente il pezzo forte del locale, ci tornerei per la comodità ma sicuramente si trova di meglio anche in zona. Prezzi nella media in relazione al quartiere in cui è situata.

Dinner on Easter Sunday. Very pleasant setting, careful decoration. Perfect welcome. Lots of dishes on the menu. We chose 2 pasta dishes and a pinsa (Roman pizza). We enjoyed ourselves.

20/07/2025: We came here based on the recommendation from our hotel looking for more local and less touristy food. So glad we did! The food was outstanding and the wait staff was incredibly helpful. We asked them to recommend the best dishes and they didn’t let us down. We started with the house made beef carpaccio (which is the best I have ever had) and 3 meatballs. The pasta was perfectly al dente. We finished with the dish if the day, which was a swordfish. It was moist (I never eat swordfish since it is so dry) and the olive, tomato, caper sauce on it was outstanding. I have seen other reviews complain about the service, but that wasn’t the case with our visit. Both of our waiters were overly attentive. (I am used to European service and don’t expect a lot of “is everything ok”, in fact I appreciate it in Europe.). Make sure to try the Vermentino from Sardinia. It was perfectly dry and crisp

06/09/2025: EDIT: After 5 years, I stand by my review. A must-visit. We often hear about Roman trattorias, rightly anchored in the past but with overly "rustic" staff, but at Romoletto I found something different. The cuisine balances traditional fare with modern touches, making every meal interesting and delicious. The staff's professionalism blends seamlessly and elegantly with the classic "Roman family" atmosphere. It's no coincidence that the restaurant is beloved by both locals and out-of-towners, some of whom are quite high-profile, but who still choose this small, village restaurant for their meals. If you want to dine on the traditional flavors of the Castelli Romani, Romoletto is a surefire choice. A regular stop every time I return. Having said all this, I give it 5 stars because it's a restaurant that perfectly hits its target. It does a splendid job.
