Osteria Porta Palermo is a true gem: a small but elegant restaurant with a warm, family atmosphere. The staff is exquisite, friendly, and always available. Service is fast and attentive. We had dinner at this osteria and had a great time! Excellent welcome and service. The dishes were very good, especially the tagliolini with mantis shrimp and the octopus with chickpea cream. The only complaint about the fried food was that it was missing shrimp; there were only small, pre-cleaned shrimp. Good value, recommended.

Ho letto che qualcuno si lamentava perché l'Osteria è troppo Osteria. Invece di lagnarvi, andate da quei furbetti che si chiamano "Ostaria" "Hostaria" ecc. ecc che speculano sul nome ma son asolo dei fighetti. Qui, tutto è semplice, pulito, casalingo. E come abbiamo trovato ovunque in Sicilia, ottimo, abbondante e per nulla caro. Complimenti alle due donne in sala: attente, cortesi e mai invadenti. Polpo alla griglia su crema di ceci (OTTIMO), bucatini con le sarde (ma direi di più sarde con i bucatini), calamarata con gamberi, fritto misto di paranza (OTTIMO vario e per nulla untuoso), un'acqua, una birra, un caffè. 63 euro. Questo è quanto. Ora sappiamo dove mangiare a Sciacca...
