Osteria Piazza delle Erbe In Sezze

My partner and I dined at the Piazza delle Erbe restaurant in the historic center of Sezze. What can I say...a delightful surprise. We were greeted by the host as if we were at home, and he made us feel welcome right away. We ordered two first courses: fettuccine, strictly handmade, with an exceptional smoked buffalo mozzarella ragù, and ravioli with sheep's milk ricotta and spinach, topped with cherry tomatoes and a sprinkling of aged pecorino cheese—delicious. We finished with a sampling of typical local products, which are typically served as an appetizer: local prosciutto, pancetta, fried zucchini flowers, and many other delicacies. The cuisine is authentic and of excellent quality, rooted in the local area, respectful of the raw ingredients and seasonality. Everything was perfect. We will definitely be back when we pass through this area. Highly recommended!!! See you next time!
