31/03/2025: Here I ate the best Roman dishes I have ever eaten! We had the classics: cacio e pepe, carbonara and amatriciana, trays in the center of the table so that everyone could taste everything, very high quality with large portions! You will also be surprised by the enormous pieces of bacon (which you can't find anywhere anymore). The staff and chef were very kind and professional. Highly recommended!
26/03/2025: Characteristic restaurant in the historic center of the city of the Popes, the "Trattoria Del Grappolo d'Oro" has been delighting the palates of tourists and residents for decades with the best dishes of the typical Ciociaria and Anagnina cuisine in particular.
Managed in a family way, it is characterized by a rustic environment which suggests the possibility of rediscovering the flavors of the past. Generous portions, simple ingredients and a few artfully cooked dishes are the distinctive features of the inn's gastronomic offer.
The trattoria is characterized by its architecture with exposed stones and proves to be the perfect location for those who have an intimate and traditional event in mind. The restaurant room, in fact, can accommodate up to 60 people and is such as to guarantee an intimate and evocative atmosphere.
The selection of dishes offered includes hot and cold appetizers based on local cured meats and cheeses, first courses of home-produced fresh pasta prepared with selected flours and fresh eggs, topped with tasty meat and mushroom sauces, timbales, soups, seasonal vegetable side dishes, meat second courses and traditional desserts, all accompanied by local wines and liqueurs, some of which have I.G.T. recognitions. and D.C.G.
Mrs. Paola in the dining room was able to transform dinner into a convivial moment in which she told me some anecdotes related to the 1100s structure in which the Trattoria is located, run by her family for over 60 years! Congratulations! Keep it up!
