Osteria Ostile In Treviso

The name can be misleading: the atmosphere is anything but hostile. In fact, it's welcoming, relaxed, and perfect for both a romantic dinner and a lunch with friends. The cuisine is Italian and Mediterranean, with dishes revisited with a modern twist. The menu is limited, high-quality, and also features daily specials. The average price for a full meal is around €35-40, excluding wine and beverages. The wine list is extensive and well-selected. The staff is available to recommend pairings based on the dishes you choose. The team is young, knowledgeable, and friendly. Excellent!

Excellent Italian food made by people who care. From the rich and tasty antipasti platter, exquisite vitello tonnato to the primi pasta and marvellous cheesecake, everything was flawless, balanced and made with quality produce. If this place was closer to home, it would become one of my regular go-to places!

Wonderful food (beef cooked to perfection), tasty wine, discrete and polite service. Great first stop in Treviso.

Good guys. Osteria in the center with a few tables outside. We stopped for the decidedly unusual proposals of the day, buffalo tartare and smoked venison carpaccio. I personally did not try these dishes but my companions greatly appreciated them. My choice of fish satisfied my palate. I really enjoyed the squid with squid ink and the ravioli with scallops. Young and friendly staff.

Discovered by chance while walking around Treviso, uncertain about the menu with very daring combinations, really good! Everything excellent. I highly recommend

A beautiful tavern hidden among the alleys of the center of Treviso and where you can feel pampered. The place is welcoming and well-kept and the staff knows what they are doing. We ate some very good beef and bison tartare. Unfortunately, however, I don't know if they were in a hurry and managed to cook two identical first courses wrong (tagliatelle with chanterelles and speck) which were a bit stuck together (nest-shaped) but they were tasty and served as they should be, a real shame. Another flaw was the stuffed calamari and the price was not balanced at all because it was a rather miserable little dish... Maybe later I'll give them another chance. It's a shame because the place and the staff deserve better.
