Locale molto accogliente in pieno centro storico. Menù molto soddisfacente con piatti di carne e pesce. Ottimi gli affettati e piatti molto abbondanti. I primi sono ben conditi e allo stesso tempo delicati. Peccato solo per i tempi d'attesa un pò eccessivi. I prezzi non sembrerebbero proprio economici, ma data la qualità dei prodotti sono giustissimi. Ottima carta dei vini con una selezione validissima di bianchi e rossi.

We came to Osteria Numero 5 on a Sunday for lunch on the recommendation of a friend from Palestrina. The restaurant is located in the historic center of the city (I recommend parking outside the restricted traffic zone and arriving on foot). We ate on the veranda considering the beautiful day and therefore the weather permitted. The staff immediately welcomed us with kindness and made us sit at the table. In all honesty, the place looks better on the inside than on the external furnishings which are slightly sparse (the only note on the sidelines of an excellent experience). We had an appetizer and first course, among which the standout were goose ham with courgette flowers and long gnocchi with prawns and nduja powder. The other courses also presented well both in appearance and in taste. Fresh and enjoyable white wine by the glass. Price in line with the quality and quantity of what is consumed (note of merit to the portions of the first courses which I consider excellent for satisfying oneself properly). I would like to point out the speed of service and the excellent cleanliness of the toilets. In the evening the venue becomes a location for aperitifs and also the consumption of cocktails after dinner. We were satisfied and will definitely return perhaps with friends or families.

Consigliatissimo!!!!!! siamo andati casualmente per pranzo location molto accogliente servizio ottimo e personale gentilissimo piatti particolari e tutto buonissimo compresi gli amari casarecci.Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!!!

When we come back early from work and don't want to go back straight away we stop by to pamper ourselves with a spritz, but also when we want to spend a nice evening it's one of our points of reference. Very nice place, romantically hidden in the alleys of Palestrina, welcoming and with trained and kind staff. The refinement of the ingredients is marvelous and naturally the dishes receive due success at the table! Recommended for a romantic dinner🥰 The parking in the square a few meters away is convenient and also allows you to take a short walk.

29/06/2024: Kind and great food. Plus there are games for children on the lawn in front of the room and entertainment in the evening at the weekend and on Sundays even for lunch! Fantastic!
18/06/2024: Very nice place, spacious and suitable for families with children. Excellent music and animation. Both the pizza and the fried food are good.

16/08/2024: We went yesterday, on August 15th, with friends to eat pizza. Parking is difficult to find. It's true that we were 30 people, but we didn't end up there by chance: we booked well in advance, so they were aware of the number of customers to be served. You can't dedicate just one person to taking orders from 30 customers. They joined the tables lengthwise; so to talk to someone at the end of the "car" you had to get up and sit at the whole table. A more rational way of arranging the tables had been suggested, but it wasn't even taken into consideration. Those who had the fried foods said they were good (supplì, courgette flower with ricotta and anchovy, croquette). The pizzas were a little moist underneath; thin and with a nice edge, yes. Those who had the capricciosa and carbonara found them excessively salty; the margherita was decent, if a little too soft in the center. Very few, I think 6, had a draft beer; still and sparkling water in the carafes, a few cokes, 7 or 8 took bitters at the end of the meal, 1 person 1 ice cream cup. Dividing the bill, we ended up paying 25 euros per person.. For those who only took 1 pizza and water (for example, I had a simple margherita, among other things..) I would say that it was a fairly expensive pizza. I don't think I will eat there again. Maybe I could give the benefit of the doubt by returning in a smaller number, just with my family, but for now the idea doesn't cross my mind.
