We booked for lunch following the very positive reviews and indeed they are deserved. The environment is nice and the service is excellent. The dishes are of quality but perhaps a little low in quantity in proportion to the price. Otherwise recommended.

I was in a bad mood about things and my smile returned despite everything. It's impossible not to notice the plating and quality of the food. I didn't know the place and I'll spread the word. A super compliment to whoever cooked!

Sunday lunch after a tour of the Palestrina museum. Everything turned out to be surprisingly refined, genuine and good. Very well assorted wine list. Good value for money. When we arrived, the scent that we thought was from the room was off, but instead it was the scent of the dining room staff. Even less wouldn't hurt.

Interesting menu, refined and welcoming environment. The dishes didn't surprise me but they are certainly interesting. The wine selection is good. Excellent price quality

Locale molto accogliente in pieno centro storico. Menù molto soddisfacente con piatti di carne e pesce. Ottimi gli affettati e piatti molto abbondanti. I primi sono ben conditi e allo stesso tempo delicati. Peccato solo per i tempi d'attesa un pò eccessivi. I prezzi non sembrerebbero proprio economici, ma data la qualità dei prodotti sono giustissimi. Ottima carta dei vini con una selezione validissima di bianchi e rossi.

We came to Osteria Numero 5 on a Sunday for lunch on the recommendation of a friend from Palestrina. The restaurant is located in the historic center of the city (I recommend parking outside the restricted traffic zone and arriving on foot). We ate on the veranda considering the beautiful day and therefore the weather permitted. The staff immediately welcomed us with kindness and made us sit at the table. In all honesty, the place looks better on the inside than on the external furnishings which are slightly sparse (the only note on the sidelines of an excellent experience). We had an appetizer and first course, among which the standout were goose ham with courgette flowers and long gnocchi with prawns and nduja powder. The other courses also presented well both in appearance and in taste. Fresh and enjoyable white wine by the glass. Price in line with the quality and quantity of what is consumed (note of merit to the portions of the first courses which I consider excellent for satisfying oneself properly). I would like to point out the speed of service and the excellent cleanliness of the toilets. In the evening the venue becomes a location for aperitifs and also the consumption of cocktails after dinner. We were satisfied and will definitely return perhaps with friends or families.
