Top, the best in Ariccia without a doubt!

Everything was excellent, the products were of the highest quality, the staff were friendly, and the portions were generous.

The atmosphere is nice, though a bit cramped like all the other nearby restaurants. Excellent service from the very kind, attentive, and professional staff. The food is good, and the quantity is reasonable for the price. I would return.

We stopped for a quick lunch after a motorcycle ride. The appetizer was very generous and delicious, and the beans with pork rind were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I expected better We dined at this fraschetta a few days ago, and I have to say I expected something more. The outdoor terrace is lovely, especially on these warm evenings. To be honest, we found the appetizers mediocre, especially the cheeses. We weren't thrilled with the porchetta either, but you can certainly find better quality here in Ariccia.

Inspired by the famous Roman folk song, I decided to stop for dinner at Osteria No. 1, and it was a truly excellent choice. The porchetta IGP is top-notch, tender and not stringy like at other fraschette (the name used to describe the typical taverns in the Castelli Romani), even the IGP bread, and the classic Roman first courses (amatriciana and gricia, both of which I tried and were delicious). The charming owner often spent time at the table, telling us about the history of the restaurant and his culinary experiments, letting the passion he poured into the deliciousness of his cooking shine through. I will definitely return to the Castelli Romani area to continue my exploration of traditional Roman cuisine, and OSTERIA No. 1 is just the place to do it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
