All'incrocio tra via Tor Sapienza con la Prenestina sorge questa Osteria la cui vista è parzialmente celata da un distributore di carburanti. Nata decenni addietro come trattoria per camionisti ed avventori di passaggio, col tempo si è trasformata in un posto tranquillo che ha subito una notevole ristrutturazione che l'hanno resa accattivante. I piatti giornalieri vengono enunciati a voce dai simpatici ragazzi che gestiscono la sala. Ottima la minestra ceci e vongole, lievemente deludente la carbonara che necessitava di un maggiore carattere, ottimi broccoletti ripassati e patate fritte sfogliate. Beverino il rosso alla mescita, conto scaccia crisi ed amaro gentilmente offerto.

Roman restaurant like it used to be, exceptional typical dishes, "SERIOUS" quantities and last but not least the craftsmanship of those who are expert, an experience absolutely worth trying.

Sono molti anni che ogni tanto passo di qui, l’evoluzione che Luca ha dato a questo locale del 1962 è una bella continuità e tradizione ormai difficile da trovare. Conduzione familiare pulita e cortese, dei piatti neanche a parlarne considerando che è sempre pieno. Un in bocca al lupo Luca e famiglia. 💪

In a world greedy for sophistication, this historic Osteria (since 1964) is a happy island of simple dishes, quality products and good manners. Highly recommended. Reservations are also recommended.

Traditional restaurant, very nice interior, you feel at home, very kind and polite staff, especially the boy, very good despite his young age. Classic tavern location, where you can savor the flavors of the past, but in a modern way. Very good food, a home style also in this area. Fast and professional service. I recommend their excellent tiramisu to end the dinner in style. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
