We managed to secure a table on a Saturday evening at this discreet and refined restaurant. The atmosphere is understated, and the staff attentive and professional. The menu is limited, but it showcases the chef's creativity! Despite the average zucchini fritters, which were between hot and cold, the pasta dishes were full of flavors and perfectly cooked. We will definitely return to try the chef's other creations if the opportunity arises. Thank you.

What never changes is the top-notch quality and the chef's solid technique. A few months ago, we tried the white truffle with egg and cheese fondue, followed by tagliatelle with white truffle: both absolutely excellent. The meat here is also a safe bet: tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Honestly, it's hard to find anything that isn't good at Osteria Mercato. The wine list is very interesting and well curated, a great match for the dishes on offer. The only downside was the waiting time: even with a reservation, we had to wait about half an hour before being seated. Most likely this only happens in high season, but it's still not the best start. Prices are fair for the quality provided. Overall, a recommended spot in Stresa, just hope they improve the waiting time. One of the must restaurants in the area. I had a really good time. I had zucchini flowers, pasta with rib meat, octopus skewers, peach pie on a millefeuille, and coffee. Everything was excellent.

This restaurant is located on a side street in the center of Stresa. Service is very fast and the staff are very friendly. The dishes are delicious; we had the cod croquettes, potatoes with crème fraîche, and risotto with fish and provola cheese. Highly recommended. Prices are above average.

Excellent cuisine (original, high-quality ingredients), good wines, in a cozy, refined, and warm setting. We were spontaneously provided with a high chair and a small plastic cup. The waitresses were efficient, attentive, and friendly. A great time!

Op het terras hebben we lekker gegeten. Veel gerechten op de kaart hadden een of meer verrassende ingrediënten. Vooral de risotto was erg lekker. De bediening was vriendelijk en heel snel.

Bel locale con possibilità di mangiare anche all’aperto. Buoni i bao Buns di carne (2 è molto abbondanti). Eccezionale il cordon blue di coniglio, mentre invece la pasta mischiata cozze patate e provola era un po’ pesante. Buoni senza strafare i dolci (5/8€).
