Formalisms, labels and starred cuisine are banned, if you go to Mangiafuoco you do it to live an authentic experience, breathing, deeply, the true essence of a territory, made of traditions, jokes but, above all, of the sea! At Mangiafuoco you will find real fish, cooked with great skill and respect for the raw material, transformed into dishes that vary from day to day, based on the morning's catch. The dishes are generous and authentic and, in this, perfectly reflect those who cook them. The prices are affordable, within everyone's reach, and the service is informal but always courteous. Mangiafuoco is not for everyone but it certainly represents an obligatory destination for those who are still looking for a true experience, without the filters and appearances that characterize today's world. Characteristic place with fish specialties. Out of 4 people I was the only vegetarian. I ate gnocchi with pesto that were a masterpiece. Thank you!

Welcoming place, in a street adjacent to the beautiful historic center of Piombino, very hospitable staff, excellent food, abundant and refined. The octopus is the most characteristic dish, excellent also the spaghetti alla Margherita Granseola).
