Today we went to this typical tavern, the appetizer was superb, tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms... excellent... what can I say, everything was very good... the bill was reasonable... we will definitely be back...

We stumbled upon Aiello by chance, and this restaurant was a wonderful surprise.
The dishes are top-quality: we especially enjoyed the rosemary ribs and the truffle pasta, as well as the truly delicious appetizer. The owner was very kind, and the atmosphere was welcoming and familiar. Highly recommended.

We've been vacationing in Aiello Calabro for two weeks, a beautiful town with great hospitality.
We've been to Osteria Malaspina several times. Excellent food, excellent wine, and great hospitality. We'll be staying there again before we leave.
I highly recommend visiting the osteria, you'll be thrilled. Thank you all for a spectacular vacation, and we'll see you again next year.

The food was delicious, the owners were friendly, but the prices seemed decidedly too high for the place. It's possible that the quality of the ingredients is good—but it often is in Italy—and that doesn't justify such high prices for the food and wine. Furthermore, there's no bill: at the end, you have to guess how much you paid for each course.
