A very well-kept and welcoming trattoria in the historic center of Aiello Calabro. We were a group of friends; they served a generous appetizer, then we ordered some first courses. The cold cuts were standard; I really liked the cheeses, but they were tiny pieces. There were some vegetables—broccoli, carrots, squash, and onion—that didn't make me say "wow." I tried two first courses: tagliatelle with truffle, which I thought was a little salty and a bit loose; tagliatelle with guanciale and fennel, which were really good! Of course, it's a matter of taste. Friendly and courteous service. Excellent bill!

Today we went to this typical tavern, the appetizer was superb, tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms... excellent... what can I say, everything was very good... the bill was reasonable... we will definitely be back...

We stumbled upon Aiello by chance, and this restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The dishes are top-quality: we especially enjoyed the rosemary ribs and the truffle pasta, as well as the truly delicious appetizer. The owner was very kind, and the atmosphere was welcoming and familiar. Highly recommended.

We've been vacationing in Aiello Calabro for two weeks, a beautiful town with great hospitality. We've been to Osteria Malaspina several times. Excellent food, excellent wine, and great hospitality. We'll be staying there again before we leave. I highly recommend visiting the osteria, you'll be thrilled. Thank you all for a spectacular vacation, and we'll see you again next year.

We arrived at this osteria based on the reviews. It was a wonderful surprise, far beyond our expectations. The place is welcoming, the owners are extremely kind. Special mention goes to the dishes: excellent, with expertly combined flavors. Thank you. We'll be back.

The food was delicious, the owners were friendly, but the prices seemed decidedly too high for the place. It's possible that the quality of the ingredients is good—but it often is in Italy—and that doesn't justify such high prices for the food and wine. Furthermore, there's no bill: at the end, you have to guess how much you paid for each course.

13/09/2025: I had the pleasure of trying this Italian restaurant, and I have to say the fresh pasta is definitely the highlight. The gnocchi with cherry tomatoes were truly delicious, well-made, and served with a simple yet flavorful sauce. The ravioli with swordfish sauce were also a pleasant surprise: well-seasoned, with a balanced filling and a sauce that enhanced the dish without overpowering its flavors. On the slightly less positive note, the fried calamari were edible, but nothing special. The calamari were slightly sticky and lacked the crispiness you expect from a good fried dish. Overall, a good experience. With a little more attention, this could become a truly excellent place.
21/08/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant. Superlative first courses. It's a shame they didn't offer a raw fish appetizer; perhaps ask for it when you book, but unfortunately I didn't. The place is also welcoming and well-maintained. I recommend it.

04/09/2025: Clean environment, courteous and friendly staff. Normal wait times. The pizza is crispy with excellent leavening, fresh ingredients, and the quality is evident. Normal prices, a variety of options, and excellent customer service. In the summer, if you order takeout, I recommend booking in advance so you can at least get it at the time you choose.
