We went for dinner and were very satisfied. The tavern is located at the entrance to the village, less than a minute from the famous chessboard. Inside they have a small courtyard overlooked by a creeper, very suggestive. The menu includes traditional Venetian dishes: prices range from €10-13 for first courses and €11-17 for second courses. The service was really fast despite the amount of people present. The owner was really kind, he even offered us liqueur. I recommend booking, there are two time slots: from 7pm to 9pm and then from 9pm to closing.

Excellent tavern in the center of Marostica. Raw materials of excellent quality. Reservations are recommended, possibility of dining outside, but I do not recommend it on cooler spring evenings... Personally, the tiramisu lacked a bit of that touch of flavor or kick that the appetizers and first courses had.

We had lunch last Sunday during the peak of the famous Marostica Cherry Festival (reserving the table several days in advance knowing the peculiarity of the place and the particularly touristy day) and we were pleasantly surprised and much more than satisfied with the experience. I would start immediately with a round of applause for the dining room manager who, moving with grace and always with a smile, first called us to make sure we were arriving (the place had a line of people ready to grab a free table), and took care of all the phases of the service, from the order with precise and accurate explanations, to the bill at the cash register, with extreme care and professionalism despite the place being a constant coming and going of people, waiters and telephone reservations. The environment is very particular: the long wooden tables placed both inside and in the internal courtyard, also accommodate several groups at the same time, the walls are full of paintings and period objects, making the whole thing rather full but truly characteristic. The food is exquisitely genuine, the portions adequate for more than honest prices! In conclusion, a certainty if you are in the city or in the surrounding area!

I came to Marostica square for a walk and I came across a very nice and particular restaurant a few meters from the square. You have to come with a lot of patience because it is almost always full. It would be better to book in advance. My family and I liked it a lot. I hope you do too 😊

Controllando le recensioni sui ristoranti a Marostica mi sono imbattuto in quelle dell'osteria. Trovandomi là per il mercatino dell'antiquariato ho deciso di telefonare per prenotare un tavolo per pranzo. Il telefono era sempre occupato e quindi mi sono recato sul posto ed ho preso appuntamento per le 11,30 altrimenti avrei dovuto aspettare fino alle 14,00 vista la disponibilità. Mi hanno trovato un posto nel giardino esterno, anche se non ero molto entusiasta visto che non faceva caldissimo. Però il tavolo era bello, la location anche, il servizio molto veloce (sono riuscito a pranzare in 40 minuti) ed il loro baccalà alla vicentina, seguito da erbette cotte e tiramisù è stato delizioso.

Tutto molto buono. Polpette rosse con pole fa degne di scarpetta. Dolce Macafame proprio come “una volta” con ciliegie sotto grappa
