Osteria Madonnetta In Marostica

Curious and bored, we decide to try this place so acclaimed by the reviews. Probably everyone has gone somewhere else. We book for 2 and are placed at a table with two very uncomfortable chairs, all crooked because of the gravel floor of the outside garden. We soon realized that eating in those conditions would have been impossible. Luckily, once we asked, we were kindly moved inside. The location is a classic rustic tavern, like when you go to eat at your nostalgic grandmother's. We start with an 8€ appetizer (very exaggerated) of cheese, salami and polenta that would have made even a child from Iraq pity (see photo). We continue with a plate of bigoli with sugary ragù, probably due to an exaggerated amount of carrots in the meat and very plastic bigoli, clearly bought at the supermarket at the very modest cost of 10€, but at least here there was some quantity. Finally we finish with a roast beef so thin it is transparent, drowned in oil, with mashed potatoes that are clearly from the ones in a bag. We didn't dare venture into the dessert because we were disappointed by the rest. Luckily the staff is nice and kind. Total 36 euros kindly rounded up to 30 by the owner paying in cash.

A characteristic, welcoming tavern with a beautiful and very intimate garden. The food is good, quality and fresh vegetables. The service is very good, the waitresses attentive to the needs of the customer, friendly and quick to serve. Highly recommended.

Very characteristic location, fast but friendly and efficient service, home-made and very good dishes!!! Tiramisu failed but for the rest top.. a real Osteria!!

We were visiting Marostica and were recommended by a florist, I have to say thank you because we had lunch in 6 people and all agreed in confirming that we found a lot of quality in the product offered of all the dishes we chose. Barbara and her brother were very kind. We arrived without a reservation and Barbara's brother immediately told us not to worry that he would find us accommodation, even though the place was full. Barbara for her part was a continuous thank you always with a big smile. They were very fast and professional. At the end of lunch they offered us 6 liqueurs made and patented by the owner, excellent. We will definitely return when we are near Marostica. See you soon Luigi

Amazing place. Very tasty traditional food, fair prices, service is top notch. Lovely green garden. Definitely worth a visit, don't even hesitate.

Mi ha portato qua un’amica . Non me lo sarei mai aspettato trovare un posto del genere in centro a Marostica. Beh che dire sono rimasto davvero sorpreso, cominciando dalla location che è bellissima !! C’è una zona al chiuso più invernale credo e poi un bel pezzo fuori in un cortile ombreggiato e davvero molto molto carino !! Il cibo è spettacolare che dire noi abbiamo preso vari piatti e non ce n’era uno non buono !! Complimenti davvero era tutto molto buono dal fegato alla ciaglia alla trippa !! Ci tornerò sicurante !!se volete pranzare o cenare bene a Marostica non fatevi scappare questo locale . Personale attento e gentile . Conto ottimo !!noi abbiamo speso 28 a testa con acqua vino vari antipasti divisi un secondo a testa caffè amaro
