Excellent home cooking.
After more than 20 years, I've finally been able to eat pisaréi e fasö like my mom used to make. The anolini in brodo and horse pícula are also excellent. Excellent service. I recommend the 4 vissole after dinner!!!

I've rediscovered a true osteria, offering generous, simple yet carefully prepared dishes with homemade flavors. The rabbit with mustard sauce is truly excellent. The quality is excellent, and the prices are a plus. First and second courses for €9 are now hard to find in restaurants in Piacenza and the surrounding province. Highly recommended, very popular; book well in advance.

The food was top-notch as usual, with just a few items, but done sublimely. That's beyond question. It was the service that left much to be desired last night, and it was a first. The waitress who usually works there wasn't there, and unfortunately, it showed. A different woman was there, and I sincerely hope for the restaurant's sake that she gets properly trained, because if she keeps going like this, she won't have a long working life, considering she did the same for the other tables. First of all, she came to take our order two minutes after we'd sat down (there were seven of us with only two menus), so she could have given us at least 10 minutes to read them. Note that up until that point, we were the only customers, so this kind of treatment doesn't explain it. Okay, let's move on. We ordered in a hurry, while she stood there waiting, tapping her foot as if to say, hurry up. But the best (so to speak) was, alas, yet to come. After we'd somehow finished ordering the first courses, I asked if we could wait to order the second courses, and the aforementioned person arrogantly told us that if we wanted them, we had to order them right away because she wouldn't have time to come to our table later as other customers were arriving. This is the first time I've ever experienced something like this when I go out to eat. This person was completely unhelpful, also because of other things that happened when she was taking down the orders. Some people shouldn't have to deal with customers but stay in the kitchen cleaning up. The girl who's usually there, who wasn't there last night, isn't exactly the friendliest person; she rarely smiles, but at least she does her job properly. Let's just say that you go to this place for the great food, and that's it.

A true osteria, with a menu announced by word of mouth, quality food and generous portions at a more than fair price.
Special mention for the rabbit with mustard and the anolini in broth.
Long live osterias like these.
