Osteria Lo Spuntino In Caorso

Restaurant found while passing through Italy. It's simple but just totally delicious and when you know that the cook and manager must be in their 80s, it commands respect. Thanks to his daughter for doing so much to explain the menu to us (she only speaks Italian). It was great ! Well done ladies!

I didn't know this OSTERIA but I must say a very pleasant surprise.....as soon as we entered we were surrounded by the aromas of very inviting food....very clean place and excellent food.....we will definitely be back....well done.

We went to this restaurant on Easter Sunday and unfortunately the service was very slow and a little disorganized, but the dishes were truly exceptional, cooked with care and respecting tradition, good cured meats, fantastic tortelli, but the rabbit with mustard beats all the rest. To return, perhaps on a day with less confusion.

We were there recently...excellent food...very friendly staff...rustic and well-kept location...if I can add two flaws though...there was a bit of musical background...and a paper menu where you can also view the prices....anyway, overall I highly recommend the food very well..we will be back soon

Perfect location where you can breathe the air of home while eating good food made with love. I assume a family-run tavern, located in the countryside near Piacenza. Found by chance, we had dinner by ordering a fantastic first and second course. Very good house wine. Fabulous frog risotto, equally meat-based main course. In the kitchen there is also an elderly lady who still cooks with love and seeing this scene I was moved. Food made with Heart and passion of a lifetime can be felt. Location, food, price and service absolutely excellent. Thanks for the fantastic dinner.
