La mugnaia is an absolute must-try! We went there four times, but it deserved the fifth! ... During our 15-day vacation in the area.

We ate really well! A menu featuring traditional local dishes and a selection of classic arrosticini and liver were truly satisfying! The food was excellent!
The place is rustic, country-style, very clean, and well-organized!

The view was beautiful, especially along the road up from Silvi Marina.
The traditional hot appetizers were quite good, the ravioli with meat sauce quite good, the roast lamb was good.
The service was forgettable: over three hours for three courses. We had asked for four different first courses, but two of them were actually ravioli with different sauces. We were told the kitchen couldn't serve more than three first courses per table. Wow!
When we arrived, we ordered appetizers, first courses, and arrosticini. After an hour and a half, they came to tell us they were out of arrosticini. The funny thing was that after this announcement, we continued to see arrosticini being passed around for tables that arrived after us but hadn't ordered their first courses.
Finally, to top it off, they had included the €50 for the arrosticini we hadn't had in the bill.
Out of intellectual honesty, when we pointed out the mistake, they immediately corrected the bill.

An excellent experience at this Abruzzo restaurant, where tradition meets quality. The arrosticini are among the best: tender, well-cooked, and full of authentic flavor. The menu showcases typical local dishes (abundant in quantity) with great care.
The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer helpful advice.
The quiet and welcoming atmosphere, framed by beautiful sunflowers outside, makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for those seeking authentic Abruzzo cuisine.

Four of us went for lunch today on Sunday with our family. It's a lovely, small but well-kept restaurant with sunflowers in front of the entrance and a stunning view behind it. The food is excellent. We had two cold appetizers consisting of platters with salami, loin, prosciutto, and cheese. Everything was excellent, even the accompanying grated cheese. For the first course, chili peppers in oil and a fantastic chili pepper jam! I finished half a jar alone. 😄 A portion of meatballs, cac e ov, was excellent! 3 first courses, including a chitarrina alla teramana, excellent and with a generous ragù, as per tradition. Fabulous gnocchi alla boscaiola! And ravioli with ricotta and spinach in ragù, delicious! For the second courses, I had a very tender tagliata, 15 meat arrosticini, and 5 liver skewers. Finally, a Catalan cream with berries and a pizza dogge. Everything was excellent, the girl serving the tables was very kind, and the bill was a pleasant surprise!
Definitely worth returning to.

I'm very simple, but then again, one shouldn't eat in a palace.
The food, on the other hand, is excellent. The hot appetizers are delicious, with tripe, fried cheese, and cheese and egg balls.
The cold appetizers are quite simple.
For one person, two slices of salami, loin, ham, and cheese with a small portion of vegetables in oil.
The first courses are the best; I ordered chitarrina alla teramana, and my wife the ravioli.
They brought us two more than generous portions, so much so that we were able to practically try both dishes.
Both were superb; the chitarrina was slightly tasty but excellent, and the ravioli with ragu and local ricotta were even better.
For the second course, a nice portion of mixed roast beef, enough for both of us, although it would seem modest if one didn't order something first.
Then sautéed chicory, buina, and finally pizza doce (basically English soup), but made by them in Abruzzo, it's the best.
Half a liter of wine, a coffee, and a liter of water, all in all we paid only 55 euros.
Trust me, the portions, especially the pasta, are small.
We'll be back.
