We were fortunate that our relative recommended this restaurant and glad they did. FYI: be sure to make a reservation.
We ordered a full course lunch since it was our honeymoon after a busy day prior. We ordered Negroni and Aperol spritz which was good. Our meatballs and fish croquettes were good. We ordered some pastas. The amatriciana was really good. The orecchiette had some smoked cheese which is ok if you like that. We a great wine with our meal as well. As you can tell, everything is "good" lol so I highly recommend this place.
The place overall had a cool, chill vibe to it.

One of the best restaurants in central Rome. Excellent cuisine, impeccable service thanks to a young and knowledgeable staff led by the legendary Lucia.
Excellent wine list.
A very welcoming location with outdoor seating in a charming little square.
Prices are appropriate for the setting.

Our experience at Osteria La Quercia in Rome was absolutely fantastic!
I had the vitello tonnato, which was delicious, and my boyfriend tried the carbonara without a doubt, the best carbonara of his life! I also tried the special of the day, a pasta with fresh mushrooms, which was simply divine.
We sat outside on the terrace, a very pleasant spot, and were served by two lovely young ladies, always kind and smiling. The atmosphere is warm and authentically Roman, which made everything even more special.
Definitely a restaurant to recomm

Very tasty food. Pasta with pecorino and black pepper was great and so was the carbonara. The pistachio crème brulee was a real treat! Very affordable :)

A fantastic restaurant on a very charming square. The tomato salad was truly amazing, the tastiest tiramisu and tomato salad we've ever had! The dishes are a bit more luxurious and unique. The meatballs and vitello tonato were also particularly delicious and refined, highly recommended!

The best meal I've ever had in Rome! Recommended by a local friend, it's her favorite restaurant, and now I understand why. It didn't disappoint: excellent food, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite being in the heart of the city, the little square it's located in is a true oasis of tranquility amidst the chaos.

Lunch. Simple atmosphere, not particularly in line with more traditional Roman trattorias. Good dishes, although the portions are modest, and if you ask for a slightly larger plate, you'll pay €4 more, or €16 + €4 = €20 for a standard plate of cacio e pepe, which in a Roman osteria is a stratospheric price. Bread €8 (I didn't pay a cover charge), 6 pumpkin soups €36 (a shocking price for less than exceptional fried flowers), one beer choice (33cl bottled poretti) €5, meatballs and 2 meatball main courses €32... 2 desserts €16... Total for three people (not everyone had a full lunch) €193.50... In Rome's city center, I've eaten better, more abundant meals at much more honest prices. The 3 stars are because the carbonara and cacio pepe were good, even if they were really poor. Another thing I didn't like was the cutlery being placed directly on the table and on that little iron thing. A small napkin, even a paper one, wouldn't hurt. It's a shame to write such reviews, but for fried zucchini flowers and 8/10 meatballs, €68 seems really excessive.
