Quality and goodness: We dined here while in Risignano. The sunset view was phenomenal. The dishes, from the appetizer (a good portion given the quality of the ingredients), to the first courses (where instead of the mezze maniche we received a tube with mushrooms, a new experience), to the superior house wine, and the music selection, which was excellent for us. Very nice place.

We booked on a different day than planned because the restaurant—being family-run—had been closed for a few days due to a personal issue. Despite this, the staff remained friendly and smiling, and that alone says a lot. I'd been looking for a non-touristy, authentic place that focused on quality over quantity, and here I found exactly what I was looking for: traditional dishes, authentic flavors, and meticulous attention to detail. It was worth the extra day. Both I and my companions found everything delicious, from appetizers to dessert. I usually take photos of every course, but I was so engrossed in tasting that I forgot. I can assure you, however, that every dish, paired with an excellent wine, was truly top-notch. Very fair prices: anyone who comments otherwise probably has no idea what some touristy places offer for even higher prices. Keep up the good work, truly TOP!

We only went there for food, which was delicious. Beautiful typical Tuscan osteria, efficient and friendly service. Easy reservation by whatsapp. Will definitely come back!

What can I say! Wonderful place, if you like good meat, you're sure to find something here. The host is incredibly friendly and the cooks are phenomenal. Prices are more than reasonable! I highly recommend it if you're passing through, or if you want to stay in this ancient village. Locanda Il Sigillo offers a wonderful B&B, and next door, their daughter Giada runs a vacation apartment and a deluxe suite called Le Bouganville! We're coming back to eat here tonight!

A lovely little spot nestled among the city's ancient alleys. Welcoming and informal. Once you've read and accepted the rules, I'd recommend this place. It's family-run, and everything is freshly cooked. All the dishes served are excellent; the house wine isn't the usual low-quality variety, but it's very good, and we particularly enjoyed it. The host is friendly. Go there without hesitation.

Absolutely perfect. Raffaele, a true host like few others left, sadly. The menu is simple, straightforward, no-frills, and substantial. What's there is, as it should be. In the kitchen, his wife and daughter convey their Tuscan identity with flavors that make you feel at home. Entirely family-run, seating is limited to ensure a pleasant experience for both diners and staff. Reservations are therefore essential. It's definitely worth the trip for anyone in the area. Thanks again, Raffaele and family, we'll definitely be back as soon as we can!

We were at Osteria Il Sigillo with a large group: 18 adults and 9 children. From the moment we were welcomed we felt pampered and well looked after. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive to everyone's needs, including the little ones. The menu was able to please every palate: tasty and well-prepared dishes for omnivores, but also excellent vegetarian options, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. From starters to desserts, every course was a success. The children were happy with their dedicated portions and the space was perfect to allow them to move around peacefully. A special thanks to the staff for the impeccable management of such a large group: right timing, smiles and great professionalism. Highly recommended for dinners with friends, families and large groups!

07/12/2025: I dare say I spent a wonderful Sunday in Bolgheri. A fairytale village! But the best part was having lunch at Mr. Michele Innocenti's Enoteca. A delight for the palate. Starting with the maltagliati with hare, ravioli with butter and sage, ravioli with butter and crispy rigatino, slow-cooked artichokes with ricotta ribollita mousse, mixed crostini with good wine, and cantucci with Vin Santo. A well-kept restaurant, the staff are professional and never intrusive, always attentive. I recommend it if you have a free day! Visit Bolgheri and have lunch or dinner at this Enoteca, it's truly worth it. The motto is "Central wine bar, center of your taste buds."
07/12/2025: The restaurant is located right in the center of Bolgheri, a small village famous for its food and wine, so I ate very well with excellent quality products!!! Good service and a very friendly owner!!! Highly recommended!!!!

12/11/2025: The place is very beautiful, with a terrace overlooking the greenery. The service on the day we went was very slow and not particularly friendly (except for the girl with braids). We ordered a Florentine steak and got a rib-eye steak, without any explanation. When I pointed this out, they told me it was true, but that they still cost the same per kilo (I don't think so, since the Florentine steak contains the fillet, which is the most valuable part, and we ordered a Florentine anyway). In the end, the girl with braids "gave us a small discount," which rather than make up for the disappointment, brought the price back to fairness, given that it was a rib-eye steak.
03/11/2025: Beautiful place, with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly, beautiful location with breathtaking views... Le Defenze wine recommended, truly organized and helpful staff, that makes the difference! We had an appetizer for two, a really good mix of bruschetta... We took a break for the second course, which was really plentiful, just the right amount, with crostini that allowed you to enjoy the Bolgheri wine with its value, then came the second course, the meat, which was the more than right choice! Two courses, for me, a fillet with truffles and to say special is an understatement! The meat was tender and cooked just as I wanted, the waiter understood correctly and took it back to the kitchen, even the second course of tagliata was perfect, the presentation of the dish was elegant and beautiful to look at!! We chose the terrace to enjoy the view even if the weather wasn't the best... ps the meat was always hot even if we were outside, we enjoyed it!! Definitely going back tomorrow, best restaurant in Bolgheri! Thank you all. Carol and Jacque
