A midweek lunch and we had a wonderful meal. Superb food quality, great preparation and friendly, efficient service. Six out of five stars!

We had a great time!! The staff welcomed us immediately even though we hadn't booked, we ate very well and everything arrived in a short time. The accompanying bread is one of the best we have ever eaten, delicious parmigiana and fried food and the first courses are also very good. The price is excellent for the quality and also the area

Osteria a pochi passi dalla Funicolare di San Martino. Menu essenziale con piatti di terra e di mare, buona scelta di vini. Ambiente caldo e accogliente, servizio cortese e veloce, prezzi nella media.

Nice restaurant just at the entrance / exit of the funicular of the castle of Sant'Elmo. We ordered many dishes, and each one was better than the other. We have been in Naples for a couple of days and to be honest, like the food here, nowhere else. The food is tasty and delicious but above all genuine

Locale piccolo ma molto caratteristico e ben curato, in una zona molto tranquilla ed elegante di Napoli. Abbiamo mangiato in uno dei pochi tavoli presenti all’esterno, scegliendo primi e secondi. Io ho scelto il pesce grigliato, buonissimo! I miei amici hanno preso la pasta ed è stata molto apprezzata.

28/05/2025: Initially we were hesitant about the competitive prices on the menu but already from the first courses and the wine we could appreciate a substantial and good cuisine. I ordered a bottle of wine at random from the list and it was good. Even though we sat down at almost 9 pm the bread served was still fresh and soft. The fish was also fresh and the dishes ordered very tasty. The menu is quite extensive, too bad for the limited desserts that we did not order (only tiramisu, pannacotta and profiteroles). Overall I recommend this restaurant. For what you spend and how you eat it leaves you truly satisfied.
25/05/2025: This restaurant was tucked away down a side street, but one that we came back to for a second time! Their pasta and risotto were excellent and the best that we’ve eaten on our holiday.

Antico Girarrosto Ischitano

13/04/2025: Historic institution in Ischia, very kind staff and very high quality food. A special note on the croquettes, one of the best I've ever eaten.
16/03/2025: Rotisserie with typical Ischia dishes, such as Ischia rabbit (good but too greasy and immersed in oil) and various vegetables. The main problem was the lack of transparency on prices: when it came to the bill, we noticed discrepancies compared to the menu, with an increase of €2 on the rabbit (€30 instead of €28) and of €0.50-1 on other products. This, combined with the disappointing sausage and the overly greasy rabbit, negatively affected the overall experience with no more than 3 stars. The total bill of €55 for rabbit, vegetables, potatoes, sausage, water and focaccia did not seem justified to us. Positive note: the boy as waiter was very kind and helpful.
