We had lunch in this typical mountain restaurant with a couple of friends and we were really satisfied. The place is welcoming, with its warm and traditional atmosphere. The staff, very kind and helpful, makes the experience even more pleasant. The quality of the food is excellent: tasty and well-prepared typical dishes. I am sure that our friend Matteo, known for his difficult tastes and rigorous reviews, who will soon become a father for the second time, would have liked it too: best wishes to him from the bottom of my heart!

Atmosphere of times gone by, welcoming, well-kept and evocative environment. You can eat excellent Friulian dishes. A walk in the beautiful village after lunch is worth it

Marvelous!!!!! Beautiful, welcoming place, very welcoming and familiar staff, exceptional food... The only flaw??? On closing day you have to go elsewhere to eat... There were 4 of us and then 3 of us for 3 nights in a row!!!!

I visited the town of Erto and then I entered this restaurant with my wife and you are thrilled just by seeing how it is structured. Delicious lunch and very kind staff, top notch.

Lots of people, friendly staff available to find free seats, several choices from the menu, there are also unique dishes that allow you to eat. Medium-high prices.

Abbiamo visitato Erto e abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante, nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Molto buoni i canederli, buono il frico con polenta. Personale cortese.

28/11/2024: Informal restaurant in the center of Spilimbergo, ideal for a quick lunch... yes, sometimes we complain about waiting too long at the restaurant, but this is not the case at Consul... as soon as we entered a kind waiter made us sit down, asking us again first to sit down, what we wanted to drink, then the owner arrived immediately and listed the dishes of the day, time to order and within two or three minutes the first courses arrived, exquisite lasagne and mushroom risotto a little too full of flavoring or glutamate, for the second course very good cod but accompanied by a very salty polenta. Price appropriate to the quality of the dishes.

07/11/2024: Worth waiting to eat. Everyone is welcomed. For the first round they accept reservations. Traditional dishes and honest prices. The tortelli with porcini mushrooms and the venison are very good. The frico with polenta is also excellent. The desserts are good: ricotta and raspberries and tiramisu with dry biscuits.
05/11/2024: Disappointing. The herb croutons could have been interesting but they were very low in raw materials, there was literally a blade of grass on each one, a far cry from the photos seen online. The tagliatelle were with mixed mushrooms, not porcini mushrooms as had been proposed to us. However, not very tasty and dry. The frico was mostly potatoes, very little cheese. The discreet cake. Unfavorable quality/price ratio.
