A very welcoming place and delicious local cuisine. We had venison bresaola (off-menu), frico (a local cheese) with polenta, and tosela (another local cheese) with polenta, with a side of pastith, fermented vegetables, also typical of Friuli. Everything was delicious! Especially the frico and tosela, which were truly spectacular. Be careful with the house red wine: it goes down like water and we got really drunk!

What can I say: FABULOUS! A very relaxing atmosphere, expertly prepared dishes. The second course of pumpkin gnocchi with butter, sage, and smoked ricotta, and the orzotto with mushrooms, were simply fantastic. An explosion of flavor in your mouth. The venison tartare is a delicacy for lovers of raw meat. A top rating, a must-visit!

"Il Gallo Cedrone" in Erto was a true culinary paradise! The service was impeccable, the staff friendly and attentive. The quality of the food was astonishing, with dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is welcoming, overlooking one of the streets of "Erto vecchia." I recommend it to anyone who loves good food and a quiet place.

The three of us had lunch on Sunday at this truly charming restaurant, located in a small, quiet mountain village, perfect for those seeking relaxation and authenticity.
The atmosphere is welcoming and rustic, making it even more enjoyable. We sampled several traditional dishes, all truly delicious and rich in flavor.
You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation.
The staff was extremely kind, always smiling and helpful.
The value for money was also excellent.
If we really had to find a small complaint, some portions—like the vegetables—could be slightly larger (an extra spoonful wouldn't hurt!), but it's really a minor detail that doesn't change our overall opinion.

After a visit to the Vajont Dam, we went to eat in this small tavern where we were welcomed very well. Excellent quality food, the tagliatelle with venison ragù phenomenal, also the desserts delicious! We will definitely return, also the service exceptional!

Cibo ottimo , davvero squisito. La pasta fatta in casa era speciale , con un sugo di cervo meraviglioso. Purtroppo non posso dire altrettanto del personale, che a volte conta più della qualità del cbo... Un minimo d entusiasmo e qualche sorriso avrebbero cambiato la mia recensione ... Peccato !
