We didn't have a reservation, they found a place for us right away. It took a while to order the food. We ordered tuna and two pastas. The squid pasta was very tasty but the other one, which was like a seashell, was not so good.

Small restaurant a little outside the historic center in a quiet area, which suited us perfectly.
We had a very warm welcome there.
The cuisine is generous. The portions are generous.
On the other hand, unfortunately I was disappointed with my dish, the sea urchin liguines.
The pasta was al dente but fatty and absolutely not the taste of sea urchin.
I ended up eating pasta with butter. Damage.
We couldn't make up for it with dessert, there was no more 😔

A beautiful find. The owner accommodated us for lunch even though it was nearly time for the kitchen to close. It was just what we wanted ~ authentic, fresh local dishes with most of the pasta home made, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming; a lovely lunch with a bottle of local sparkling rose wine ….we will be back when we return to Lecce, highly recommend.

If you are looking for an authentic and warm culinary experience, you cannot miss Osteria di Lecce. This delightful restaurant is a real gem, where the courtesy of the staff is only surpassed by the quality of the dishes on offer. The portions are generous, making every meal not only satisfying but also excellent value for money. Although the selection is limited, each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail, proving that quality always surpasses quantity. I highly recommend trying it; you won't be disappointed! A culinary experience that warms the heart and satisfies the palate.

Locale molto carino, primi piatti gustosi e con un tocco di originalità. Secondi piatti buoni, in particolare gli involtini di pesce spada gustosissimi. Il tiramisù rivisitato con i mustaccioli una vera delizia. Consigliato.
