Excellent location with an exceptional view of Diano Castello....We ate very well, featuring Ligurian specialties and at reasonable prices. I recommend anyone in the area to try the restaurant....it's worth it.

A restaurant with outdoor seating, beneath the church of Diano Castello. We were there on August 16th and watched the fireworks display in Diano Marina from there. There were six of us. We ordered two plates of frisceu (fried pasta), two trofie (pasta) with pesto, one plate of borage ravioli, one small plate of grilled vegetables, four desserts, four medium beers, one small beers, and two bottles of water, and we spent €131. I enjoyed what I ate, but I still think the prices are a bit high. €3 for 0.75 of microfiltered water seems a bit high. The frisceu (fried pasta) is good, but even there, €16 per plate (which contains one large square frisceu with cheese, two medium ones with cheese, three or four small ones with herbs, and two or three strips of chickpeas) seems a bit high. It's a casual place, with standard service. Be careful with the photos on the menu showing the pizza: they're old. We asked for pizzas and they told us "we haven't made them for at least 4 years" (actually, I think only 2, because a photo of the old menu is from 2 years ago). We had made a reservation.

Highly recommended. The food was simply fantastic and incredibly tasty. The espresso was also very good. The ambiance, with the fantastic view of the sea, was simply beautiful. We didn't have a reservation, but we were immediately greeted very warmly.
