Uncomfortable place but very good food

Anniversary dinner with a view over the rooftops of Florence. The location on the terrace of the Hotel Hermitage, between Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo della Signoria, did not disappoint expectations, not large but well looked after. The cuisine is Tuscan and the menu often varies, with dishes different from the usual and traditional ones, for example we took the Chianti foiè gras terrine. The house specialties based on truffles are really well made and I noticed research into the raw materials, especially in the black truffle tartar (the photo doesn't do it justice even for the quantity). The attentive and non-invasive service accompanied us throughout the dinner, a special mention for Gabriele who, with his kindness, put us at ease, recommending their strong dishes with kindness and kindness. We took two appetizers, a first course, a second course and two desserts with a bottle of wine and the price was right, perhaps even low for the general experience and the quantities. A place to return to fully enjoy the beauty of Florence and its flavours. I recommend booking the terrace in advance. Thank you

Very basic menu, average prices, for three: two glasses of red and a bottle of water, an appetizer - mushroom pie on pumpkin cream, a first course of rigatoni with sauce, a cut with truffle, a cod Livorno style, a mixed salad and a slice of cheese cake 148eu.

Este restaurante se encuentra en la parte superior del hotel The Hermitage. La decoración en el salón del hotel (4a planta) es cómoda y lujosa. Tienes que tomar el ascensor (o escaleras) al 5o piso. Debido al mal tiempo no pudimos sentarnos fuera, pero estábamos sentados en una zona agradable y acogedora. Me encantó la música relajante. El personal era amable y profesional. La comida era buena. Pedimos un primer plato para compartir que no llegó y nuestro principal fue primero, preguntamos dónde estaba y lo compraron después. El pan estaba rancio y no era comestible, pero nos cobraron un «cargo de cobertura» de 8 euros. Solo hay un aseo en el restaurante y era imposible entrar allí ya que había una cola constante por lo que tuve que localizar otro en el cuarto piso al salir. Tomamos un entrante, dos pastas de trufa, una espinaca y una copa de vino y la factura fue de 100 euros. En general fue una noche muy agradable y la ubicación es preciosa.

I went without a reservation, but the Trouble Pasta was delicious. It was difficult to get a terrace seat during the day because the sunlight was so strong.
