Osteria delle Erbe In Mantova

A very beautiful and clean restaurant: the furniture, including tables and chairs, is white and still framed by the original brick walls. The waiters, dressed in elegant uniforms, are very friendly. The service is elegant but not cloying: I felt at home, and even our dog was made very welcome! The local dishes are excellent; we wanted traditional Mantuan fare, and we were satisfied! You absolutely must try the beef stew and the sbrisolona! Upon entry and after paying the bill, they give you a business card with a 10% discount, so we'll definitely be back!

An excellent lunch in the center of Mantua, in a spacious and well-organized restaurant (five rooms inside). We savored both baked goods like breadsticks and taralli, as well as other dishes on the menu, such as pumpkin with rosemary and shallots (absolutely delicious!) and the sublime risotto alla mantovana! The prices are high, but we ate so well that we were happy to spend them! The only downside is the bathroom (which is why I can't give the restaurant a full 5 stars): as soon as you go down the stairs, you can smell bad odors (the stairs adjoin the kitchen), and the women's section is quite unfortunate, but never mind. Scaravelli also has a café, pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and bakery under the arcades of Piazza delle Erbe, offering unique and inviting treats, both sweet and savory!

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Mantua! Beautiful and sophisticated location. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind, not to mention the truly delicious food! Congratulations!

The food is excellent, with dishes that showcase local flavors. Special thanks to the staff: the service was impeccable and very friendly. We felt pampered from start to finish. We'll be back very soon!

In this superb square, a very warm welcome with a 10% discount voucher. The local pomodoro cheese starter was excellent. A charcuterie platter was also included. The main course was a very good pizza with Parma ham. And the gnocchi, made with a surprising but very tasty bread, were homemade in their shop across the street.

Dinner with my wife, greeted by the only polite waiter of the evening, who unfortunately served other tables. The place was dirty, the bathrooms were forgettable, and the food was of poor quality, with cold dishes and questionable ingredients. The head waiter, that's what he looked like, wearing a ski jacket like he was downhill skiing... With arrogant attitudes... We won't be back... Don't worry!!

Four of us had lunch at the outdoor tables. The location was stunning, right in the historic center. Excellent service, nothing to complain about. The dishes were very good; they surprised me! The only downside was the quantity, especially the tortelli (considering the price). I recommend it because the flavors were indeed very good and well-matched, but I personally thought the portions were a bit small.

Very friendly waiters. Very tasty sweets. Great atmosphere. The restrooms could be a bit bigger, though. But still 5 stars.

The restaurant's rating of 3.3 is undeserved...the homemade herb and pumpkin tortelli were divine, and in this setting, they deserve a few euros more!
