What can I say? Excellence in the center of Mantua. I discovered it two years ago through work, taking clients for lunch. It has now become a well-established landmark in Mantua, even with my family. Davide is incredible, his staff is always smiling, kind, and helpful. The wines and food are top-notch. Highly recommended.

A fantastic dinner in the center of Mantua! The creative salad was fresh and tasty, the Mantovana pizza was truly special, and the millefeuille was a dream. Finished on a sweet note with a fruit salad and a perfect glass of Custoza. Definitely worth returning!

Cena e pranzo il giorno seguente. Provato per caso, rischiando, visto il giudizio medio delle recensioni. La cena si rivela spettacolare, attesa inesistente, staff cordiale e piatti squisiti, solo i prezzi sono leggermente alti rispetto alla norma, ma considerando il posto dove siedi e la qualità dei piatti, sono accettabili.

Ci sono andata ieri sera per una pizza, ovviamente i prezzi sono più alti delle pizzerie in periferia ma ce lo aspettavamo, quello che non mi aspettavo era una pizza così buona, leggera e con prodotti di qualità. Personale disponibile e cordiale, location che dire, sei in centro a Mantova con la vista su piazza Erbe, anche se la pizza costa qualcosa in più, ben venga visto anche la qualità.

20/07/2025: Saturday lunch with my mom: We had a wonderful and friendly welcome from the wait staff (Andrea) and the chef, who delighted us with their traditional local cuisine and their explanations of the dishes and the history of the town. We ordered the charcuterie and cheese platter with their own homemade mustards, which were excellent, accompanied by a refreshing Lambrusco. This was followed by a delicious risotto alla Mantovana! We tried a very special Lambrusco passito and a Passito di Pantelleria with Piedmontese goat's cheese. Finally, they offered us a taste of tagliatelle cake and sbrisolona with nocino and their own licorice liqueur. A little restaurant from another era, where you feel right at home: it makes you want to return soon! Congratulations!

21/09/2025: A lovely historical restaurant with amazing service and traditional dishes and wines. It is a family business and the owner was very kind and friendly. We were given a traditional dessert for free, as well as some bread selection in the beginning. Overall - a lovely experience and would definitely recommend!
14/09/2025: A culinary experience that deserves the best! We were in Mantua for a weekend and chose to dine at this restaurant, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The atmosphere is refined, elegant, and welcoming, perfect for a special evening. The service was impeccable. The staff is attentive, professional, and available to answer any questions, without ever being intrusive. They expertly guided us through our selection of dishes and wine. And the food... simply exceptional! We started with delicious appetizers, which paved the way for unforgettable main courses. The stew with polenta was so tender it melted in your mouth, a true traditional masterpiece. The rabbit with herbs was also exquisite, delicate, and perfectly flavorful, while the tagliata was perfectly cooked and of the highest quality. All this was accompanied by an excellent wine, expertly recommended, which enhanced the flavors of each course. "La Cucina di Mantova" isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy the authentic flavors of Mantua in a high-quality setting. We'll definitely be back.
