A very beautiful place inside and beautifully decorated outside. The menu is good, with excellent pumpkin tortelli (though portions were small, according to my guests). The cured meats and the tagliata are definitely worth trying. Service is prompt and prompt, but less so at the register, where there's a sign prohibiting separate bills. Their SBRISOLONA is highly recommended for takeout; it's much more expensive than nearby shops, but trust me, you'll find out why when you taste it...unbeatable!

While visiting Mantua, we saw this restaurant in Piazza delle Erbe. We liked it and went in. The atmosphere is elegant, characteristic, the staff friendly, and the food excellent.

A restaurant in the center of Mantua, overlooking a square, with several beautifully appointed dining rooms overlooking the square. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. The wait times between courses are reasonable. The food is typical Mantua, which they make in the shops across the street. The pumpkin tortelli are exquisite, but the rest is delicious, too. The pizza, as it turns out, is superb! The wine I ordered was a local Pinot Grigio... I was a bit perplexed by the screw cap, but I would definitely return and recommend it!

A very beautiful and clean restaurant: the furniture, including tables and chairs, is white and still framed by the original brick walls. The waiters, dressed in elegant uniforms, are very friendly. The service is elegant but not cloying: I felt at home, and even our dog was made very welcome! The local dishes are excellent; we wanted traditional Mantuan fare, and we were satisfied! You absolutely must try the beef stew and the sbrisolona! Upon entry and after paying the bill, they give you a business card with a 10% discount, so we'll definitely be back!

An excellent lunch in the center of Mantua, in a spacious and well-organized restaurant (five rooms inside). We savored both baked goods like breadsticks and taralli, as well as other dishes on the menu, such as pumpkin with rosemary and shallots (absolutely delicious!) and the sublime risotto alla mantovana! The prices are high, but we ate so well that we were happy to spend them! The only downside is the bathroom (which is why I can't give the restaurant a full 5 stars): as soon as you go down the stairs, you can smell bad odors (the stairs adjoin the kitchen), and the women's section is quite unfortunate, but never mind. Scaravelli also has a café, pastry shop, ice cream parlor, and bakery under the arcades of Piazza delle Erbe, offering unique and inviting treats, both sweet and savory!

Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in Mantua! Beautiful and sophisticated location. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind, not to mention the truly delicious food! Congratulations!
