In this superb square, a very warm welcome with a 10% discount voucher. The local pomodoro cheese starter was excellent. A charcuterie platter was also included. The main course was a very good pizza with Parma ham. And the gnocchi, made with a surprising but very tasty bread, were homemade in their shop across the street.

Dinner with my wife, greeted by the only polite waiter of the evening, who unfortunately served other tables. The place was dirty, the bathrooms were forgettable, and the food was of poor quality, with cold dishes and questionable ingredients. The head waiter, that's what he looked like, wearing a ski jacket like he was downhill skiing... With arrogant attitudes... We won't be back... Don't worry!!

Four of us had lunch at the outdoor tables. The location was stunning, right in the historic center. Excellent service, nothing to complain about. The dishes were very good; they surprised me! The only downside was the quantity, especially the tortelli (considering the price). I recommend it because the flavors were indeed very good and well-matched, but I personally thought the portions were a bit small.

Very friendly waiters. Very tasty sweets. Great atmosphere. The restrooms could be a bit bigger, though. But still 5 stars.

The restaurant's rating of 3.3 is undeserved...the homemade herb and pumpkin tortelli were divine, and in this setting, they deserve a few euros more!

What can I say? Excellence in the center of Mantua. I discovered it two years ago through work, taking clients for lunch. It has now become a well-established landmark in Mantua, even with my family. Davide is incredible, his staff is always smiling, kind, and helpful. The wines and food are top-notch. Highly recommended.

21/09/2025: A lovely historical restaurant with amazing service and traditional dishes and wines. It is a family business and the owner was very kind and friendly. We were given a traditional dessert for free, as well as some bread selection in the beginning. Overall - a lovely experience and would definitely recommend!

16/03/2025: Trattoria adatta per una serata tranquilla e informale a Lagusello. Si entra dal bar poi ci sono 3 ambienti. Abbiamo mangiato capunsei e bigoli al germano + polenta ai formaggi. Piatti abbondanti e ben conditi.
01/03/2025: Castellaro Lagusello é tra i Borghi più belli a due schioppi dal Garda e quando ci vai devi fermarti alla Pesa. Antica trattoria di Diego, titolare nonché cantante, uno dei suoi pezzi te lo becchi senza scampo, a noi é toccato De Gregori. Antipasto di affettato, Lunette alla zucca e Grigliata, tutto uno da dividere per due, accompagnato da ottimi calici di Valpolicella e naturalmente Acqua. Conto 45€. Quando spendi così, non puoi fare il difficile. Promosso! Saluti da Arrigo Paolo e Ombretta
