Memorable. A landmark Last Saturday, tagliatelle with hare sauce, followed by polenta and hare hunting, mouth-watering.

An old-fashioned trattoria where kindness and courtesy reign supreme. Excellent and plentiful Piacenza food. It's a shame the pisaréi could have been better, but the rest is wonderful. Well done!

I tried it yesterday for lunch and I can't say it was any better. The cured meats were divine, the nettle parcels delicious, and not to mention the roasts! This place is worth the hour and a half trip from Milan. I'll definitely be back.

It's already open from mid-morning and closes at midnight ... here in the tiny Genepreto and we are in a true oasis of peace ... there is this small, very simple osteria that makes you feel right at home. Here you eat very well at a more than fair price... it goes from 20 euros to 30 euros per person... when you arrive up here you immediately notice a landscape with many shades of green... many woods... and large vineyards. And once you enter the tiny village which is however "very well known for its cuisine... not for nothing all the recipes that are used here... for lunches or dinners... come from the DE.CO... municipal designation of origin... which was created by Gino Veronelli... to create and enhance the extraordinary heritage of gastronomic memory, among the flagship dishes are... the roasted coppa... of Genepreto and the tortelli dall'ottica... accompanied by excellent glasses of Gutturnio wine from these hills. To continue we start again at the table with ..Pisarei e faso" ..tortelli butter and sage ...anolini in broth ...and second course ..the Picula ad caval ...plus good game dishes ..and many other delicious first courses ..plus ..cured meats and fried gnocco ..what's left for me to say is that if you come up here you have solved not only your evenings but also your weekends come to Genepreto.

Bar Osteria...just like in the Piacenza hills. Valeria makes excellent gnocco fritto with cured meats, truly exceptional tortelli with nettles, roast coppa just like my grandmother used to make, homemade desserts, all accompanied by Gutturnio or Artrugo white wine, if you prefer. The menu is very varied and excellent value. Well done Valeria!!!
