We ate on a beautiful outdoor terrace with a covered garden.
Large salads, exquisite octopus, excellent cutlets, and delicious desserts, almost all homemade except for the parfaits.

Friendly service, food is served on time. The owner is friendly and have good knowledge of English which is a major help for foreigners like me. Def recommend if you want a nice dinner with friends or family.

Nice atmosphere with a fireplace, but the tables are very close together, making it a bit noisy, especially if there are large groups nearby. The risotto was good, the octopus tender, and the Milanese cutlet was tasty (a generous portion). It's a shame that we waited an hour between the first and second courses, asking several times for our dishes!
Reservations recommended.

Erano alcuni anni che non passavo e ho constatato con piacere che il livello e‘ rimasto alto.
Come al solito non potevo non ordinare la cotoletta (nella versione Bismarck) davvero una vera prelibatezza.
Nell‘attesa ho degustato l‘orologio dei formaggi, interessante servito con le composte il miele e le cipolle di tropea.
La mia commensale ha assaggiato il risotto al limone. Davvero innovativo, profumato e delicato (ho il vizio di assaggiare tutto).
Per non parlare del filetto ai funghi porcini davvero delizioso.
A questo punto non c‘era piu‘ spazio per i dolci. Sara‘ per la prossima volta.
Prezzi onesti, pasteggiato con un ottimo Valpolicella ripasso di un piccolo produttore (di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome).

Una cena davvero speciale!
Sono stata alla Gabella con delle amiche e mi sono trovata benissimo. Ho preso il filetto alla Rossini ed era semplicemente delizioso: carne morbidissima, crema al cognac super saporita e pancetta croccante al punto giusto. La cottura era perfetta, proprio come la volevo.
Anche le altre portate al tavolo erano una più buona dell’altra, si sente che usano ingredienti di qualità.
Il locale è accogliente e il personale molto gentile e attento.
Sicuramente un posto dove tornare.
