A place frozen in time. The atmosphere is welcoming, simple, and familiar, with a lovely garden where you can relax. It was a pleasant surprise, highly recommended!

Simplicity, the only true word to describe this tavern. Arriving on a hot June midday, I called a few minutes early to make sure we could eat. “But we do sandwiches and TOST” I was told on the phone. What more could you want? Well, we arrive and the elderly owner who glimpsed us from the kitchen (the one in her house that also serves as the bar kitchen) welcomes us, makes us sit down and sitting in the beautiful garden outside on concrete tables and painted iron chairs we enjoy our sandwiches, a coke, a coffee and a nice slice of cake. It is worth a stop to be catapulted back in time and enjoy a genuine environment. It is increasingly rare to find places like this, THANK YOU
