A riot of flavors and colors that thrilled us.
I admit that we were a little sceptical, the main thing was that the plating was certainly not sophisticated, but the flavor of the products combined in the dishes was amazing.
Work in the room by the two owners is extremely attentive and relaxing with a lot of professionalism.
I will return as often as I can.

We have known this award-winning restaurant for many years and we had a good time this time too. The menu is seasonal and always changes with a lot of imagination from the cook. Cellar with excellent wines from the area famous for its cellars. Very polite service

Wonderful place, nestled in an alley of an ancient hamlet in the heart of Ciociaria
Sincere and with great attention to detail. Nothing is left to chance, the appearance of a "good-style" tavern reveals refined, seasonal cuisine. The owners make the experience even more complete, describing the dishes to perfection and giving diners a story made of dedication and imagination.

They are good Pompeo, kind and professional, his lady ditto, simple in their welcoming way and then you eat well, you will be satisfied just with their delicious stuffed bread, many samples of appetizers, one tastier than the other, all good, I really recommend it, I go there often.. ...book but the place is small and you risk not finding it

If not the best restaurant I know - I don't think you can choose just one - certainly the one I like to return to, at least a couple of times a year. The atmosphere of the fairy alley is magical and every time it is like feeling at home: when you enter the intimate and welcoming restaurant you move into a bubble in which the hands move more slowly and you immediately perceive the love and passion that Pompeo - an innkeeper from times gone by - and his wife dedicate themselves to their profession.
The question of choosing the menu is very simple and wisely illustrated by Pompeo: tasting of starters (minimum 7 courses, I would say compulsory), three first courses, three second courses and three desserts, to be chosen individually or, these too, as a trio of tastings for each scope.
Traditional and revisited recipes that change seasonally with attention to the raw materials and the territory, as well as the wines - mostly Cesanesi del Piglio.
The prices are more than honest, never paid more than 35-40 euros each even with a couple of bottles of wine.

Entri in questo locale e ti immergi subito in un'altra dimensione temporale: una vera cantina come quelle di una volta, arricchita di stampe, attrezzi, manifesti e tanti pezzi d'epoca, il tutto accompagnato da musica anni 30-40-50. Locale veramente "fatato"... un tuffo nel passato con tanto gusto. I piatti cucinati con passione e amore sono dettati dai prodotti di stagione, in bocca sono un'esplosione di sapori! Personale gentilissimo e disponibile e soprattutto possibilità di avere tutto il menù nella versione senza glutine! Servirebbe davvero la 6a stella per dare un voto giusto! Ci tornerò sicuramente

FENOMENALE!!! Da stellato Michelin con il vantaggio di avere prezzi e porzioni umani.
Incastonato nel centro storico di Piglio (non mettete il navigatore sull'indirizzo perché vi porterà in micro viuzze lontane dal ristorante ma scrivete semplicemente Piglio e parcheggiate sotto l'arco all'entrata del paese) di origine medioevale. Il locale si trova 5 scalini sotto una bella piazza. La gentilezza e l'ambiente vi inebrieranno. Una vera cantina (de na vota) con tanti cimeli dei bei tempi con una musica di sottofondo in associazione. Niente cellulare ed internet... siete in un locale di 60-70 anni fa in una struttura medievale. Il menù è STRATOSFERICO!!! L'antipasto è da 3 stelle Michelin ma non da meno sono i primi ed i secondi fatti con materie prime CIOCIARE. Si esce felici e soli satolli da questa esperienza culinaria. Complimenti di cuore! Continuate così.
