I consumed all the appetizers (6 very tasty courses) and the 3 very INTERESTING first courses. I have rebooked for the end of May to be able to taste the second courses and possibly the desserts. I forgot the wine... it is worth trying. Finally, I want to applaud Pompeo and his wife for their skill, professionalism and FRIENDLINESS.

Michelin star cuisine restaurant experience, but with the impression of a lunch at parent’s house ♥️ amazing place
Warm and characteristic atmosphere, small but with well-spaced tables. The appetizer consists of eight courses that vary from time to time depending on the season (today, for example: local ham, ricotta and black cabbage flan with red turnip julienne, asparagus crepes, baskets of cannellini beans, pumpkin and chicory, stuffed artichokes, grated potatoes stuffed with cabbage and mortadella with sheep's blue cheese fondue, lamb meatballs with Jerusalem artichoke cream and puntarelle, pork rolls stuffed with radicchio and smoked ham with orange cream. Then follows a choice of three first courses and three second courses (if you want you can have samples of two or three dishes). I saw the desserts pass by, inviting, but I couldn't make it. Then water, half a liter of Cesanese, coffee and house liqueurs (offered). All for 40 euros per person. It's well worth the trip from Rome, but book well in advance! The owners are very kind, yes they alternate both at the stove and in the dining room, explaining the courses in detail and making you feel at home.

So, inside a tiny old-time venue, a maximum of twenty customers can sit. You will enjoy excellent home cooking, the result of the Innkeeper's daily purchases. All very simple but also very good. The offer of bottled wines, all local, is more than sufficient. Their loose ones are also excellent. Simple, friendly and effective service. It is a very successful place, book well in advance.

Excellent lunch for three today, they are very kind and cook all the special things very well. They offered us 7 tastings of appetizers, each more delicious than the other. Then 3 tastings of first courses and 3 second courses of meat, all delicious, in the end it is a truly filling meal. Finally, 3 desserts to choose from or always have a taste of all three, the bitters (gentian, liquorice and sour cherries) and the coffee made with the mocha. Ah, the bread they make is delicious, passed with flying colors!!

Do you want to enter a bubble where time acquires another value? This is the right place. Small place but with attention to detail (tablecloths, plates, cups all with the same motif!) The cuisine is a caress on the palate, with simple ingredients but with flavors expertly combined with each other. Between the starters (6 courses!), the first courses, the second courses, the wine, the dessert, the coffee and the liqueurs, time passes and being together becomes the protagonist. If you are in a hurry this is not your place! And then the owners are... I won't tell you, go and meet them! 10 and praise

This place was a great find. The atmosphere of the place is characteristic and the service is truly kind and friendly. The food is also excellent, with a daily menu and interesting proposals. The truly honest prices don't hurt either!
