During my lunch visit, I found the place very welcoming, made even more pleasant by the crackling fireplace. The traditional dishes were very good and well-prepared. The service was attentive and friendly, if a bit slow.

Excellent restaurant serving traditional Piacenza cuisine, excellent service from the waiters. Unfortunately, our only flaw was that we chose a wine to keep aside, and they changed the bottle once. However, we were notified, and it was still an excellent bottle. The waiters were very friendly and helpful! Will we return? Yes, even if it's far away, we definitely want to return!!!

Excellent food with some traditional twists. I recommend the fantastic appetizer. Friendly staff. I don't know about five stars because the atmosphere is informal (which I think is a plus, but I know some guests don't like). In the winter, there's a fireplace waiting for you.

Osteria restaurant in the small town of Travo, popular with Italians and English tourists; excellent traditional Piacenza dishes served in an internal terrace that is perhaps a little artificial but quite cool; good service considering the number of customers, even on weekdays, and the number of waiters (2). The Gutturnio Barattieri is excellent.

I've been coming here for thirty years now... One of my favorite trattorias, as I always say, "in the world!" ☺️The kitchen prepares typical local dishes, but here you can experience the expertise, passion, and kindness of a family dedicated to hospitality. Well done everyone!!!!❤️

13/08/2025: We returned to this B&B and restaurant after a good 20 years, and it remains one of our favorite places! The hospitality was top-notch, as always, and it's a great place to relax! The garden is beautiful, and as always, the food is divine! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

La Lumaca Di PratoBarbieri

08/02/2026: La Lumaca is a rustic mountain restaurant with a wood-burning stove: the atmosphere is very warm. There's a beautiful panoramic view, with many birds passing by to retrieve the food the owners leave on the fence (sparrows, tits, etc.). The staff is very kind and friendly, as are the patrons. The charcuterie and cheese platter is very good; the polenta and cheese and the lasagna were delicious! We ended the lunch with cakes (which were delicious!) and a good coffee! The place is small, so reservations are recommended! They have books for children and board games! I recommend!
19/01/2026: A charming and informal place for a mountain snack. It's not a restaurant, but rather a place to stop for drinks and appetizers. The charcuterie boards are excellent, as is a wide selection of digestifs, including local ones. Being in the mountains, the best seating is outside, although there are also some inside. Recommended in summer for a pleasant day away from the city heat. The owner is friendly and helpful, although the other staff is more likely to rotate or be less experienced. Prices are average.
