An oasis of Roman charm just steps from a city center now sold off to mass tourism. Excellent and plentiful first courses, delicious tiramisu... even the bread was good. Unbeatable price in the area. Highly recommended. Reservations required.

If you're looking for something 100% Italian, this is the place! Walking through Trastevere, we came across this restaurant. I loved it! 100% traditional Italian food! I felt like I was at home. The food was delicious, the pasta was full-bodied and flavorful, the waiters were super attentive and friendly, and the wine—they even gave us a complimentary limoncello!—was spectacular!

I ordered gnocchi with arugula pesto and they were so good I had to try one more thing so I had carbonara as well. By far the best meal of my trip, and the service was so good.

Cercavo un posto tipico romano per mangiare a pranzo in zona con la mia famiglia europea e "multietnica" e sulla base delle recensioni ho trovato questa piccola trattoria speciale e indimenticabile per tutti. Frequentata da romani e ragazzi stranieri che come noi devono averla scoperta quasi per caso, siamo stati sorpresi per l'ottima cucina, il servizio e il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Non esitate se siete in zona, ma anche se non lo siete! La gricia è sublime, e anche il tiramisù e la crostata. A pranzo propongono un menù a prezzo fisso veramente conveniente. Fantastici!! Ci torniamo di sicuro!

De loin le meilleur rapport qualité-prix de notre séjour à Rome ! 12€ par personne pour la formule du midi avec entrée (bruschetta), plat (Rigatoni Carbonara + Gnocchi Tomate), dessert (tiramisu), café, eau. Et tout était franchement délicieux ! Et notre serveur adorable. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés !

16/10/2025: We walked into the restaurant thinking we had a reservation and I shortly realized I made it for the wrong day. The staff advised they were fully booked but they accommodated us. The manager was so friendly and helpful. We got great service, and the food was so delicious. We spent 3 weeks traveling through Italy and this was the best restaurant we visited!! Book your reservation in advance and try this place out, you won’t regret it. Get the lasagna and crème brûlée and tiramisu!

01/11/2025: What a gem! Of all the food we had in Italy, this was by far the best- so much so, we went twice for dinner! It was in a quaint little alleyway neighborhood, not far from Ponte Lungo Metro Station, and we fell in love with the restaurant, the family that runs it, their house wine, their food, the quality, the quantity, and THE PRICE! Very affordable for premium food! We really loved their sausage gnocchi, rack of ribs: GET.THE.ITALIAN.RACK.OF.RIBS!! (Yes, I’m yelling at you- you won’t regret it)! We aren’t big dessert eaters but so glad we didn’t skip the heavenly caramel, ricotta dessert. We will keep this place in our hearts forever and will come back if we are ever in Rome again! Thank you, beautiful people 🥰😍🇮🇹
29/10/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and was thrilled. The food is authentic and genuine, just like the food my grandmother used to cook: simple flavors, yet rich in tradition and care. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, perfect for feeling at home from the moment you arrive. The quality-price ratio is excellent; it's hard to find better. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend and will gladly return to.
