Excellent. Two brothers run this little place themselves. Super friendly, the prices are really, really reasonable. It leaves you with that little something extra, the heart of Rome, away from the tourist traps.

This is not only my favorite restaurant in Rome, but my favorite place. It’s the spot I go out of my way to travel to when in Italy, having missed it so much while living in the US.
Valerio is simply the best!
And I’m just so sad that when I’m here in August I won’t be able to go :(

Small but cozy.
A family-run restaurant that's courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Excellent quality at more than reasonable prices. The Gricia and Carbonara are worth a visit, but the main courses are just as delicious! Reservations are recommended!

Far from the tourists, this neighborhood osteria is authentic, generous, and offers unbeatable value for money (starters, main courses, dessert, coffee, and water for 12 euros at lunchtime). By far, one of the best restaurants in the city.
It's best to make a reservation if possible, otherwise wait for a table to become available.

12 Euro for a pasta, a tiramisu, a toast and water is impressive. The pasta and vegetables tastes like homestyle. It is indeed the best meal I've had in Italy. The boss is really nice and generous, which is the best part of this experience. A unforgettable experience！ Highly recommended.

Cercavo un posto tipico romano per mangiare a pranzo in zona con la mia famiglia europea e "multietnica" e sulla base delle recensioni ho trovato questa piccola trattoria speciale e indimenticabile per tutti. Frequentata da romani e ragazzi stranieri che come noi devono averla scoperta quasi per caso, siamo stati sorpresi per l'ottima cucina, il servizio e il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Non esitate se siete in zona, ma anche se non lo siete!
La gricia è sublime, e anche il tiramisù e la crostata.
A pranzo propongono un menù a prezzo fisso veramente conveniente. Fantastici!!

De loin le meilleur rapport qualité-prix de notre séjour à Rome !
12€ par personne pour la formule du midi avec entrée (bruschetta), plat (Rigatoni Carbonara + Gnocchi Tomate), dessert (tiramisu), café, eau. Et tout était franchement délicieux ! Et notre serveur adorable. Bref, allez-y les yeux fermés !
