Semplicità e cordialità senza grosse pretese. Piatti della tradizione serviti in abbondanza. Buona la qualità di spalla cotta, zola e fiocchetto. Torta fritta leggera e ben lievitata. Altre portate molto basiche. Eviterei il pesce di qualità inferiore

I discovered this tavern following the chef - Daniele Persegani - in the RAI show "È semper midday" and since then I have always wanted to try it at least once. Tonight I finally had my chance, and the high expectations I had created were almost all met. The first courses are excellent, as is the fried gnocco (also the hemp variant). The cold cuts platter is a little subdued, since I've found better ones elsewhere (especially regarding the mortadella and Piacenza salami). I can't complain about the quantities, because the dishes, both starters and first courses, were very substantial. The prices are very honest for such a full body. The desserts are also good, to finish off a dinner that is just right. Especially after raffling off the house wine, which is excellent. I'm sorry, however, that I didn't find the same typical Piacenza variety in the second courses. Just as I would have preferred a modernized place, or at least a more balanced interior, given the fame of the chef; but this is just my personal opinion. However, the atmosphere remains pleasant as it is homely, probably also thanks to the staff, with whom it was easy to share more than a laugh. What can I say, I finally know where to eat quite well in the (almost) Cremona area, at least for dinner.

Oggi con la mia famiglia abbiamo pranzato all’Osteria del Pescatore venendo da Milano.Abbiamo gustato un fantastico antipasto con una torta fritta sublime,poi abbiamo ordinato 3 primi altrettanto ottimi,
Siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti delle portate e della gentilezza e cortesia del personale.L’unico dispiacere è stato quello di non riuscire a fare i complimenti di persona al prof. Persegani. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio a tutti.

We went for lunch on Sunday and had a great time, a simple trattoria but the staff were all very efficient and empathetic, starter with fried pie and amazing cured meats, I ate ravioli with radicchio with gorgonzola and walnuts very good and the gnocchi with speck were also delicious and saffron, generous portions and finally the pleasure of meeting Daniele Persegani who willingly volunteered for the photo...to be returned

We went on Sunday 12th January for mum's birthday. He turned 80. There were 17 of us and the service was excellent, kind, patient and professional. The appetizer was plentiful and very good, both the fried pie and the cured meats and a truly exceptional giardiniera. the first and second courses excellent. The fried food was not greasy and very digestible. Persegani is very kind and affable, his sister is truly kind and empathetic. The waiters are patient and ready to please the customer. Excellent I would say. Highly recommended.

Excellent and abundant fried cake, light and not at all greasy. Good and abundant cured meats and gorgonzola. This is already a complete meal.

What can I say? Very good fried cake, very good first courses, second courses are the same, we didn't take dessert because it no longer fit in our stomachs, very kind, very good staff, it's worth going, we'll be back again, excellent price today 26th 10 2024.
