A Sunday lunch away from home, savoring traditions we've never seen before. Rusticity and flavor are the hallmarks of their dishes. A generous appetizer with cured meats, giardiniera, gorgonzola, and endless torta fritta. For our first course, we had pisarei e fasoi (a type of pasta with beans) and ricotta ravioli: the best we've ever had. After the first courses, there was still room to share a freshwater fried fish: the lightest fried fish. We finished with dessert and left with a smile.

We had lunch on Christmas Day and I have to say we were absolutely amazed... the food was excellent and of high quality... after we had eaten the first courses, a super waiter came to serve us the boiled meat directly from the trolley... Professor Persegani himself!!! The sister and niece were very kind, and we chatted with them at the register, where I also purchased their giardiniera!!! We will definitely be back to try their gnocco fritto, which from the photos and reviews looks like the best.... Thank you and see you soon!!!

Everything was truly excellent.
The fried cake was divine, the anolini in broth was top-notch.

I've been wanting to eat at this restaurant for a while, and I finally managed to go for Sunday lunch with my family.
In my opinion, their real highlight is the torta fritta with cured meats, giardiniera, and gorgonzola.
The torta fritta dough is light, crumbly, and not greasy. The cured meats are delicious, as is their own giardiniera.
For the first course, I tried the pisarei, which were good but not excellent. For the second course, I tried polenta and wild boar; the wild boar was very tender. As for the polenta, I would have preferred it soft and not sliced and grilled (but that's just my personal preference).
For the desserts, I tried the ciambellone and the strudel; I wasn't thrilled.
The service was attentive and attentive.
The price is in line with Milanese restaurants (perhaps you would have spent less in the past...).
I think the restaurant is in line with the menu offerings (I wouldn't call it a modern place).
Overall, I had a lovely Sunday and I think I would recommend it and will return. as soon as possible
