Very remote restaurant, but... A reservation is recommended; we were lucky, but we had to wait a bit. We rented an apartment on the property, which was also magical. Very romantic and friendly staff. We would gladly go back anytime. We only had antipasti, though. The ham, cheese, and bruschetta with tomatoes or pâté were amazing. The house wine, Chianti, was a hit at €12 a bottle.

Fifteen years ago, it was a place I often went to, especially in the summer. Dining in the courtyard overlooking the countryside and Florence is truly spectacular. I hadn't been back since the change of management several years ago, and to my great surprise, I found everything even better. The candles on the tables, the very attentive service, and the truly delicious cuisine made me regret not returning sooner.

Dine in a beautiful setting with a view of Florence if you sit outside. The food is excellent, even for people with celiac disease/gluten intolerance. The staff knows exactly what to prepare gluten-free. I had a porcini mushroom risotto with a salad and a glass of wine. It was very tasty. There's nothing to complain about. We didn't find it as expensive as many people write in their reviews. You should make a reservation well in advance, as the restaurant is always busy.

The food and service were good, but a bit expensive. The restaurant is quite remote, though. The path from the hotel (the Fattoria) is poor and poorly lit in the evening.

The osteria boasts a terrace overlooking the city, surrounded by greenery. The meat and cured meats are a must-try. The prices are a bit high.

Abbiamo cenato qui per concludere il nostro soggiorno in Toscana. Come da recensioni precedenti non posso che confermare la buona cucina, il servizio al tavolo cortese e veloce, buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Grazie

14/10/2025: BEWARE THE SOLO DINER . Not as great for a single diner. This was the one restaurant I really wanted to go to . I phoned and made a reservation and was told I would have to sit at the bar. No big deal. When I got there, there was a huge line out the door. With a reso, I got in immediately. This is great. I walked through the kitchen and was shown a seat at a bar that is disconnected from the ambiance of the restaurant. It's a hallway style area with patio tables in the back and when seated, your back is to the kitchen and toilette. The bar bell for servers goes off all the time. I get that these restaurants need to make money and single diners typically don't spend the same as 2 ppl. I'm not faulting the place for this or the set up. I'm simply saying, it's not as great for a single diner than for those of bigger parties and tou ptobably do t get to have the full experience dining there. So be prepared. The food was good and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. Would I go back? Yes, but not as a lone diner.
14/10/2025: we thought that we could not finish the portion of meat, but we did and wanted even more!
