During my visit with my family, we were able to enjoy an experience that combined gastronomic excellence and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for both adults and children. As soon as you arrive, the spectacular panorama of Florence stands out on the horizon, giving a relaxing and enchanting atmosphere, ideal for a family evening. The restaurant is furnished with taste and attention to detail, creating a refined but at the same time warm and familiar environment. The spaces are designed to accommodate even the littlest ones, with dedicated areas that guarantee fun and safety for the whole family. The quality of the products offered is truly incredible: each dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, enhancing authentic and well-balanced flavours. Personally, I highly recommend the pici with rabbit ragù, a specialty that stands out for its richness of flavors and attention to preparation, making every bite a real pleasure for the palate. Can a trattoria free itself from rustic typification without distorting its rural essence? Well in theory no, but in practice Osteria del Milione succeeds. Before entering, the impression is that of a homemade farm in the Tuscan hills but, once inside, rural authenticity is surprisingly linked to refinement: the well-kept and refined environment boasts a magical panoramic view from the top of the Giogoli hill. The dining room staff is professional and well-trained, while proving to be genuine and truly kind. The San Giovese, the house wine, is good and the pumpkin pie with taleggio fondue is excellent: incredible softness. The Florentine steak was succulent and cooked just right, I also appreciated the baked potatoes which, however, could be improved with more seasoning; finally, the desserts were delicious: panna cotta with berry topping, a pear and chocolate cake... not taking them would have been a crime, delicious. Sincere compliments, I have rarely been dazzled by such wonder.
