Whenever I pass through Faenza I always like to stop by and this time the place has surprisingly been transformed into a more luxurious setting but the cuisine is still excellent..... However, I liked it better before because I love the rustic and warm atmosphere of trattorias

I went out for the first time last Saturday. We had a great meal, everything was delicious, and the place was very nice. We were a group of friends, one of whom was celiac. The problem lies with the celiac disease (as the rest of us, with no particular food issues, ate well): when I booked, I had asked about the availability of gluten-free options, which was confirmed. At dinner, we were informed that aside from risottos and main courses, there was nothing else available. Automatically, she, like almost all of us, ordered a slice of beef (I don't remember the sauce), but it contained a sauce, which we later discovered from the waiters (after asking) was made with flour, once the dish was practically finished. The waiter, who took our order, was also kind enough to bring the girl a packet of gluten-free crostini with her appetizer. So this precaution could have been used for the subsequent courses as well. I recommend improving service by informing and training waiters about the ingredients in dishes. In cases like these, if this information is lacking, it could prove dangerous.
