Excellent food, real typical cuisine, excellent ingredients!

We have been all over Italy and have eaten a variety of food. I could place this pretty confidently as a top 3 places we’ve been to. The fiorentina steak was perfection. The rabbit pasta was to die for. And wait till you taste the carpaccio. Great atmosphere, great service, simply delicious food with respect for the traditional Italian kitchen. Can’t wait to come back!

Honestly the best meal i’ve had in Italy, Fiorentina was tender and cooked to perfection. The pici was amzazing as well. If you’re in Siena this is a place you should not skip.

T-Bone steak was one of the best meals of my life, aged to perfection and super supple. Veal pasta was a flavour bomb. Staff are friendly.

Of course, everyone would like to return to a place where they have already been and find the same dish eaten a few years before. Here however, apart from two or three traditional Tuscan dishes, you will always find something new, different and extremely good. The beauty of discovery, of course, but also of taste and experimentation. In fact, at the Osteria del Gatto, you will not find a "simple" (so to speak) cinta senese, or an easy ribolitta but also a touch of innovation from the chef. For example, having found myself here during the Christmas period, after careful online research, let's be clear, I was lucky enough to be able to taste a slice of cinta with Pampepato. Space. But be careful; no small portions, not very abundant and extremely expensive. Fair prices and satisfying, abundant and enjoyable quantities. So come on!
