Excellent food, wonderful staff, friendly owner, I will definitely return every time I pass through Siena. Highly recommended! P.S: I recommend the livers, the pici all'aglione and the panzanella, but you should try everything.

The rigatoni all'aglione is killer. I was no longer hungry after this dish. Only 10 euros. Far from the hustle and bustle of tourists. I recommend.

Tappa pranzo a Siena… Noi ci siamo trovati bene… ci siamo fidati della recensione degli studenti universitari… cibo buono e ad un prezzo top… il locale si trova fuori dalla calca del turismo, nella contrada della chiocciola, lontano dai locali blasonati e spesso turistici. Cristian il cameriere è stato bravissimo, gentilissimo e simpaticissimo… Super!!!

Osteria verace e di tradizione, ma con un tocco di freschezza. Molto buone le materie prime, piuttosto consueti gli abbinamenti, ma in ogni caso vincenti. Delizioso il pecorino con il miele, ben equilibrato il pollo all'arrabbiata. Nota di merito per il purè di fave, imperdibile per gli amanti del genere.

29/07/2024: My partner and I had dinner this evening 07/28/2024. Stopping to talk only about the food would be an understatement, not even to say it is of a superior quality (I recommend pici white ragù with truffle). We met Mr. Giuseppe, what can I say.....an incredible man with human qualities that are truly to be appreciated. He was able to accompany our dinner by recommending dishes and talking about this and that, all with truly appreciable kindness and friendliness. At the end of our dinner we felt as if we were at home, we were the last remaining customers, and we stayed talking with Giuseppe for another hour, we truly felt at home. I obviously recommend the place, firstly for Giuseppe, and secondly obviously the food which is of truly superior quality. We will definitely be back, thank you Giusè!! ❤️

10/08/2024: Delicious food the best lunch we have had on our trip to Sienna! The rabbit was excellent and the sliced beef with herbs was very, very good. The tomato soup was very tasty and the pasta pici all’aglione was some of the best red sauces we have tried. Service and our waitress were very kind and we all cleaned our plates!
