Very good food. Very basic in terms of comfort. No wifi, phone signal or wine glasses. Inexpensive. A place for locals, it would seem, but nothing to stop you going! Highly recommended.

The tavern is very beautiful, with a traditional style. There are more seats and the waiter has always been very helpful, the only flaw that can be found concerns the timing of the service, we waited quite a long time between one order and another (all justified by the fact that there seemed to be only one waiter). Overall the food is very good, there are vegetarian options as well as meat-based dishes (among other things, the venison meatballs are very good!!). Dishes therefore much appreciated and all very tasty and balanced. The handwritten menu is much appreciated, it makes everything more genuine. Recommended place!

Tired and hungry from a day up and down the city, we stumbled upon this little tavern. The staff was very kind and helpful. Excellent food. Prices are more than reasonable given the quality and quantity of the food. Truly recommended especially for tourists to eat typical Sienese food! Compliments!

Lo abbiamo trovato per caso ed è stata una piacevole scoperta. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno hanno fatto di tutto pur di farci accomodare accettando senza problemi la presenza di un cane. Locale semplice, piatti tradizionali, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, personale gentile. Consigliato!

Nice restaurant, located a little away from the main promenades. The staff is very nice and the food, which was very good, arrived quite quickly. We ate Papardelle Ragu which tasted very good.

21/08/2024: Perfect dinner in a magical atmosphere! The service was impeccable, the staff attentive and courteous. The cuisine is a triumph of authentic and creative flavours, each dish a real surprise. The chef's surprise tasting menu was an unforgettable experience: a journey through the flavors of Tuscany revisited in a modern key. The location, in the heart of Bagno Vignoni, is enchanting: dining outdoors, surrounded by this unique landscape, is an indescribable emotion. An experience to absolutely recommend!
17/08/2024: Impeccable from starter to dessert, tasty and accurate dishes, excellent wine list, perfectly cooked Florentine steak, nothing to say other than BRAVI!

30/09/2024: Credo che si debba avere dei punti fissi di riferimento, per noi a Pienza abbiamo il nostro punto di riferimento in Giuseppe e tutti il suo staff. Con la simpatia, la giovialita e la professionalità, ci fanno sempre sentire a casa, anzi in famiglia.
29/07/2024: My partner and I had dinner this evening 07/28/2024. Stopping to talk only about the food would be an understatement, not even to say it is of a superior quality (I recommend pici white ragù with truffle). We met Mr. Giuseppe, what can I say.....an incredible man with human qualities that are truly to be appreciated. He was able to accompany our dinner by recommending dishes and talking about this and that, all with truly appreciable kindness and friendliness. At the end of our dinner we felt as if we were at home, we were the last remaining customers, and we stayed talking with Giuseppe for another hour, we truly felt at home. I obviously recommend the place, firstly for Giuseppe, and secondly obviously the food which is of truly superior quality. We will definitely be back, thank you Giusè!! ❤️
