A wonderful experience! The owner explained to us in detail the story behind each dish: from the pici all'aglione, to the pappardelle with wild boar, to his homemade cantucci. All the dishes were perfect and full of flavor, the place was truly beautiful and very quiet, and the service was excellent. We returned twice in one week. Highly recommended!

Well, there's no need to argue: the food here is good. The dishes are local, made as they should be, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The place is quaint, the kind of straightforward place I like, without too many frills. But! There are some things that drive you crazy. The service is so slow it almost makes you feel like a fool waiting. But the worst comes with the bill. They charged me a percentage of the service charge, which is out of place. In short, the food is very good, but these flaws leave a bitter taste in your mouth. It's a shame, because with a little more seriousness, it would be a top-notch place.

A quaint and charming inn in central Siena. The food is excellent, featuring traditional Tuscan and local dishes. Service is a bit slow, with the usual pre-lunch chatter. Rating: 8.5

Osteria Del Gatto in Siena is a true gem! I can't believe I've only just discovered it.
The dishes are classic Tuscan cuisine, but every single one has that special touch from the chef that makes them unforgettable. The freshest ingredients and exceptional dishes, even the side dishes.
I'll definitely be back and will bring all my friends who come to visit me here so they can taste authentic Tuscan cuisine.
