We opted for the quick workers' lunch and then returned in the evening for dinner and tasted the excellent Lem meat

After a while that I had lost the habit of going to this restaurant, tonight there was the opportunity thanks to Google, searching for "restaurants open on Monday".
In the Osteria del Contadino I found the quality that I remembered: we had the farmer's appetizer and the tagliata, everything really excellent.
A round of applause for the service, attentive and courteous. The portions are abundant, the quality excellent and the quality-price ratio very good.
We will definitely return, I highly recommend it!

Without a doubt the best place to eat "Tuscan" in the province of Livorno, the quality of the products used is excellent and the result can be felt on the plate!
The environment is nice and the table is well set, even the quality of the table linen is excellent.
The wine list offers a nice selection with some French "gems".
In conclusion... at Contadino you eat and drink really well.

C'ero stato tempo addietro per un pranzo di lavoro e, vista l'esperienza più che positiva, tornato a Livorno ho voluto riprovare per confermare, o meno, il precedente giudizio... e la conferma è stata decisamente molto piacevole: un antipasto di prosciutto tagliato a mano davvero ottimo, con il grasso che si scioglieva in bocca. Per primo delle ottime tagliatelle al cinghiale. Avevo sentito parlare molto bene del "ponce livornese" e al termine, per la prima volta, ho provato questa bevanda, un caffè "rinforzato": anche un questo caso un ottimo consiglio e il rimpianto di non averlo assaggiato prima. Prezzo decisamente abbordabile.
