We were a little hesitant because we hadn't seen the menu outside...we went in and had a great time!! Excellent baked pecorino with walnuts and honey, handmade pici with Tuscan ragù, and exceptional stuffed tortelli! Excellent wine by the glass, and a special highlight for us was the lady who manages the tables, kind and very helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you!! Maria.

Like eating at mom's house!!! Home-cooked food, excellent quality.
A small and welcoming place, simple but perfect service.
My only sincere recommendation: the portions are larger, because the handmade tagliatelle with wild boar ragù were delicious, but a bit small!!! The veal steak was excellent.

We stopped at this traditional Tuscan osteria during our visit to Arcidosso. Both the town and the osteria epitomize the best of Tuscany. I haven't had tortelli with handmade pasta this good in thirty years. The sauces are also exceptional. The service is very friendly and attentive. A truly wonderful experience that I recommend to everyone.

A true Tuscan trattoria with old-fashioned flavors.
I had crostini with chicken livers, tortelli with ragù, and peposo with baked potatoes.
A very welcoming atmosphere and friendly service.
Kudos to Paola for taking me on a journey back in time.

Tutte le volte che andiamo sull’Amiata facciamo un salto al Castello che offre una buona cucina casalinga di qualità a prezzi modici. Ambiente rustico e carino e il personale è veramente gentile e attento.

Devo dire che tutto quello che ho mangiato da gli antipasti al primo il secondo e dolce non riesco a trovare un difetto dal piacere che ho provato immerso in sapori che mi hanno sconvolto dalla sua delicatezza e sapore immenso.
