I came here today with my friends; they'd never been to Mantua. There's no better place, authentic, traditional dishes. Excellent first courses, appetizers, and desserts too. We'll definitely be back, congratulations.

I expected more! The food was good, well-cooked, and flavorful. The anchovies were the bomb. The pork cheeks were also delicious. The steak was excellent. Points for improvement: The place needs a good clean, dusting. Good value for money.

We discovered this little place by chance while wandering around Mantua, and it was a wonderful surprise. The interior is very well-kept and welcoming, with a unique atmosphere that we immediately loved. The service was helpful and friendly throughout the meal, which always makes a difference. We ordered two appetizers: a crostone with horsemeat fillets (I don't remember the exact name on the menu) and the Mantua appetizer. The first course was truly excellent, flavorful, and well-balanced. The Mantua appetizer was good, but for the price, I found it a bit sparse in ingredients: with a little more, it would have been perfect. For our first courses, we had the maltagliati, which were very good, and the pumpkin tortelli... spectacular. They were just the right amount of sweetness, rich in flavor: absolutely recommended. Overall, it's a unique place that we really enjoyed. Fair prices and truly friendly staff. We'll be happy to return. See you next time! ✨

First of all, thanks to the bookseller who recommended it to us. Secondly, thanks to Niccolò and his kitchen, which made us eat (and drink) wonderfully: flavorful and balanced dishes, fabulous pairings... truly a pleasant surprise! I highly recommend it!

What a lovely discovery! I was in Mantua for an evening at the theater and wandered into this lovely restaurant nearby. Immediately struck by the informal atmosphere and the large array of LEGO construction sets, the smiling and professional staff seated us at a small, intimate table for two. We were served with courtesy, speed, and professionalism. Everything was delicious, well-presented, and flavorful. I highly recommend it.

This restaurant is centrally located and easy to get to. Very friendly staff and fast service. Good food, both risotto and pasta. I recommend it.

Recommended by a local friend, we dined at Osteria del Campione, right in the historic center. I found the atmosphere and welcome very familiar, and the menu reflected the same atmosphere. Tasty dishes and friendly service were a perfect combination. Definitely a place I'll gladly return to.
