A nice place, nice and welcoming, very young atmosphere, good food, but I was hoping for something more given the place, average price, the only flaw is the Inter shirt at the checkout, however, we will happily go back

The food itself and the atmosphere were good but the service was a mesh. First, the girl who took the order did not inform us that the meat we ordered, beaf filet and pork cotollettes, were not accompanied by anything else, just plain meat. Second, they served the first plate (primo piato), aubergine with parmizano cheese, long after the second and just when we asked for the bill (they accepted however to return the plate without cherge). Third, the charged for a coce which we never ordered or served (again the accepted to remove rhe charge). The prices were normal.

My boyfriend and I were taking a walk in the city, we stopped to have dinner at the Osteria del Campione. We took two first courses to share, the dishes were very good and beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff. The owner welcomed us with a smile.

Great small osteria in a very heart of Mantova.
Stop by for a dinner and was nicely surprised by the quality of food.
Sharing board of typical Mantova salumi and cheese is a must to order, bottle of Lambrusco Mantovano to accompany is mandatory as well.
P.S restaurant is decorated with multiple Lego models and game characters which is quite interesting to observe.
Good option for a casual dinner if visiting Mantova.

I arrived late, after my friends had finished their lunch already. The staff were kind and flexible, serving me food at 2:30pm while my friends sipped their wine. We had really nice beef tartare, several types of pasta, anchovies and salad. Friendly, relaxed environment, good choice of wines. A nice touch: there’s local art on the walls, and the owner’s LEGO collection is displayed around the restaurant: it’s interesting and fun to spot LEGO characters and sets all around you.
