A simple comment to those who think they ate shortly after consuming the tripe: there are certainly also appetizers and desserts, possibly; it's a choice. Portions must never be exaggerated, you must eat intelligently. Regarding the waiting time, I would add that those who know how to cook like me are not surprised. I end by saying that the restaurant is a place of conviviality, if we have conversation time passes. Personally, when I went to the Osteria del Campione I always had a good time.

When we don't feel like cooking, we always order an extraordinary rice at the pilot, the portions are generous and they always give extra bread (homemade and delicious). Tiramisu is a real traditional tiramisu, very tasty. We also already ordered the schnitzel and it was excellent.
Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Mantua to order food! (We also have to try it live, but the owner has always been kind on the phone and so has the delivery person)

The food is excellent, I had a nice juicy Fiorentina with excellent seasoning, and my partner also ate well. The friendly and helpful staff are normal, the only flaw, perhaps, in my opinion, is the slightly neglected place.

This place was recommended to us by a person from the area.
Not recommended bruschettas: unseasoned tomatoes and cannellini beans, canned mushrooms in oil.
The meat first courses were good, unfortunately I discovered upon tasting that the pumpkin tortelli were with amaretto and too sweet for my tastes, it would have been nice to know the ingredients of the filling (I understand that it is a traditional dish but for a person not from the area it is not obvious).
Cut requested medium and arrived rare.
Long times considering that the place wasn't full, I think you could find better.
Valid alternative for meat-based first courses.
N.b. General condition of the room is neglected.

Arrivati numerosi (8 persone) molto tardi, a ridosso dell’orario di chiusura, senza prenotazione. Accolti col sorriso ed una grande disponibilità!!
Servizio puntuale, antipasti molto buoni (menzione d’onore al salame), così come le altre portate. Ottime le caramelle al brasato!
Non aggiungo la quinta stella perché erano finiti i tortelli di zucca… ma ci torneremo per assaggiarli!
Davvero consigliato!

Ristorante molto carino e accogliente con personale molto gentile e cordiale. Buoni I bigoli cacio e pepe e i tortelli di zucca. Se siete in zona fermatevi.
