The pork leg is to die for. So is the baked ricotta and the sciacciata. Terrific food menu ...where the locals eat. The best.

I came across this tavern by mistake while returning from the Valley of the Temples. After calling to see if it was open and had seats available, we went around 2pm on Sunday. From the outside you wouldn't give much confidence, but once inside you immediately notice the family atmosphere and the extreme hospitality of the ladies who run it. We waited a while for the dishes to arrive but it was worth it. We took 2 Pasta alla Norma, 1 veal steak, 1 baked lasagna and 1 baked pasta, while to drink 3 water and 1 1lt coke, 3 slices of watermelon produced by them, 1 decomposed cannoli and 5 coffees. Total €100. All very good and fresh, well cooked and excellent quantities, very sweet and fresh watermelon. If you are in these parts I recommend it! (They participated in the Chef's Test)

Coming from Milan, the dinner was an exciting return to the Sicily of the past, quality raw materials, food carefully prepared by expert professionals, welcoming venue, efficient and professional service at an economical cost. To conclude, I can't wait to go back.
