Osteria del Cacciatore In Agrigento

Two of us were passing through, so we went in. Upon entering, we were greeted by the very friendly and welcoming staff. They make you feel right at home. With a wide selection on the menu, we asked for recommendations and trusted their advice. We chose the daily specials to sample something fresh and locally sourced. It was definitely worth it. Each dish was explained to us so we could learn its history. I highly recommend it if you want to experience home-cooked food prepared just as our mothers used to do with so much love.

Excellent trattoria restaurant, good quality and "unique" kindness of the owner.

We went for dinner as a couple and tried this restaurant after wanting to try it for a long time. We finally went last night and it was a great experience, especially since we woke up feeling great this morning. For starters, the two of us had a schiacciata, an imbriulata, a cardoon dish, and two stuffed mushrooms (delicious), and for main course, a truly delicious pork shank, cooked well and the meat was incredibly tender. A bottle of local Nero d'Avola, which I really enjoyed, was also included. To finish, a slice of black cherry cake. Excellent value. The owner is very kind and the staff are friendly and smiling, which I really appreciate. See you next time.

Very nice restaurant, excellent food

Every time I go, it's a confirmation. They're good, kind, and fast. The food, as always, is excellent. The prices seem to have been lowered.

A true osteria. Produce grown and harvested by them. True zero-mile. Superior quality. Even the house wine.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at Osteria del Cacciatore and was particularly impressed, as I am every time I go. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for a special lunch. The service was impeccable, with the staff being kind and attentive, always available to our requests, and the owners were wonderful people. The menu was full of tasty dishes and generous portions. The presentation of the dishes was a true work of art. I especially tried the antipasti, first and second courses, and desserts, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and the flavor was simply delicious. I highly recommend Osteria del Cacciatore in Castrofilippo to all lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. Best regards
