An amazing culinary experience at Osteria del Borgo! The Carbonara is simply exceptional, creamy and flavorful like few others in the area. We started with a platter of top-quality cured meats and cheeses, but the real surprise was the bruschetta with Colonnata lard: it literally melts in your mouth and has become my absolute favorite. A combination of authentic flavors that make this osteria a must-visit in Ariccia for those seeking true tradition.

A classic Ariccia fraschetta, with the cold and hot appetizers alone you'll be more than satisfied.
If you don't mind drinking wine, €20 is enough.

The restaurant is a typical trattoria, with very good and plentiful food, truly delicious house wine, and attentive and friendly staff. We even enjoyed a performance by a costumed actor who sang Roman folk songs and joined us in a few choruses, as well as explaining the origins of fraschette.
It's a shame that parking requires a lot of patience and a lot of luck, given the limited parking available. If it weren't for that, everything would be fantastic.
Updating the review: we followed the manager's advice and took advantage of the free parking (located under the infamous Ariccia bridge) and the paid elevator (€1 per person). Now, no one can take away your 5 stars!!! See you next time!

Finally, after taking some lovely walks in the surrounding area (Castel Gandolfo, Nemi), we stopped for lunch, and what can I say?
Their amazing platter of cured meats (prosciutto, salami, mortadella, and porchetta) and vegetables (peppers) was amazing, along with mixed olives, buffalo mozzarella bites, goat ricotta, and honey, coppiette (a typical dish of the area). Then we paired them with Colonnata lard bruschetta, meatballs with tomato sauce, fried pizzas, beans with pork rinds, also with tomato sauce, and a basket of delicious bread 😋, accompanied by a good red wine from the Castelli Romani.
We tried all the first courses: Rigatoni alla Carbonara, Bucatini all'amatriciana, Pappardelle with wild boar, Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe, and the mutton arrosticini... EVERYTHING TOP. Generous portions.
To finish with dessert: Nutella panna cotta and crema catalana.
There were 8 of us, and we were very comfortable and spacious (compared to other places where you usually sit cramped and on benches). I highly recommend it to everyone!

I came to this restaurant after having been there a couple of times before to celebrate, and we all had a great time. We ate wonderfully. Diego is an exceptional person, as are the waiters. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was all delicious, the tripe was special. The atmosphere was lovely, and thanks again to Diego for letting us bring a cake. We'll definitely be back, especially since everyone was satisfied, not just me. I highly recommend it. See you next time.

Returning to savor magnificent dishes brought back memories of long ago.
Spectacular appetizer, top-notch porchetta, mozzarella, and buffalo mozzarella (10).
The wild boar pappardelle was amazing.
Highly recommended restaurant.
