One of the few true surviving Piacenza trattorias, it should be protected by UNESCO 😁. The place is large, it is crowded only on summer weekends.

Midweek lunch, overall we had a good time, with some technical notes. I took tortelli with porcini sauce on the side. The tortelli are artisanal and you can see why they are different from each other, there is certainly also a novice hand making them because they are very badly made, rolled rather than braided, but with experience you can it can only get better, filled with light ricotta and a little spinach, with the sauce which is very tasty they go very well. My husband had a mushroom risotto, tasteless, the grain tasted like water, the seasoning tried to improve the situation, very solid and we were the first table served at the start of the service Second veal with tuna sauce which was actually turkey with ready-made tuna sauce, roast veal cut too thick, a little tough, it should have cooked a little longer, the roast potatoes were really excellent, cooked with the roast sauce. On a hot summer evening my dad and I decided to go and find some cool air and I'd say we found it. The Pastors are always a guarantee: the service is quite fast despite always being very full and the quality and quantity of the food is always maintained over the years. We ate cured meats with giardiniera, tortelli with mushroom sauce served separately (space) and an amazing tiramisu. We were on the terrace side where the view is very pretty. The waiters are very kind, friendly and helpful. The bill is a surprise: you spend very little compared to all the other restaurants of this level in Val Trebbia.

You never go wrong at Andrea's. Excellent value for money. The traditional Piacenza dishes are always excellent. The cellar is also well stocked. A hug to Chiara and all the staff
