There are no words: you go back in time. Dinner on Friday evening 9 August. Truly a restaurant where you can taste ancient flavours, forgotten over time. Abundant portions and flavors like they once did. If you are near Torre Orsaia, stop in this restaurant, you will not be treated as customers but as honored guests. Highly recommended for those who like the cuisine of the past.

A leap into the past of at least 50 years. No wine list, no menu, no air conditioning, but lots of hospitality and eating with gusto and drinking white or red wine, it doesn't matter so much and everything is all good and genuine. Seeing is believing.

Scoperto per caso, passandoci davanti, abbiamo voluto provare la cucina di questa Osteria.
Sapori antichi e accoglienza familiare sono la caratteristica del locale: è come tornare a casa e trovare la nonna ai fornelli!
Ottimi i primi (lagane con i ceci, cavatelli (piccoli gnocchetti di farina) e ravioli con la ricotta.
Per secondo abbiamo assaggiato polpette e salsiccia al finocchietto al sugo, una melanzana ripiena ed una porzione di parmigiana: tutto saporito e ben cotto, come anche le patatine fritte (NON industriali). Abbiamo anche assaggiato un dolcetto (zeppoline) ed un liquore artigianale al finocchio.
Al momento del conto, anche quattro chiacchiere con la gentile signora Addolorata e con uno dei figli.

Everything was excellent, I'm sorry for the diet we are following, which didn't allow us to indulge in the generous portions. We will definitely be back to feast on Cilento delicacies. The only flaw, but for this reason the "environment" item should be exalted where it deserves 6 and 7 stars, due to an unfortunate situation that occurred with a sinister and obtuse individual regarding my dog, which I won't talk about. The room rose in a gesture of solidarity towards discrimination towards animals.
