Not knowing where to go for dinner near Desenzano, we relied on the Michelin guide, which is never wrong. In fact, we spent a truly pleasant evening. The atmosphere is so welcoming that it almost feels like guests in Mr. Pietro's home. From the entrée to the small pastry shop, you feel pampered and at the center of a unique experience. The food is excellent, with generous portions and equally warm and attentive staff. Pietro, with great passion, entertained us by telling us curiosities about Mantuan desserts, of which he is rightly very proud. We ordered a rose cake, and with great kindness he also offered us a helvezia to taste. Among the dishes, the cuttlefish tagliatelle and pigeon agnolotti are highly recommended, which really won us over. An experience that leaves its mark and that I recommend to anyone looking for authenticity and quality.

A well-kept and very welcoming place, the customer is pampered but at the same time made to feel at home. The food is impeccable: the dishes combine traditional flavors with an original twist. Pietro and the guys in the room are kind and attentive, every customer request is satisfied. Compliments to the chef and all the staff, every time we enjoy lunch at Osteria da Pietro, we are always very satisfied. highly recommended!

Two of us had lunch today via Smartbox; special welcome, kind and welcoming owner and waiters. Very nice place, relaxing background music, impeccable mise en place. Welcome drink much appreciated. There were 4 dishes in total, one more beautiful and delicious than the other. The desserts were also very popular. Definitely a place to eat well and enjoy the moment. Super recommended

An elegant place where you eat very well

Un locale estremamente elegante e raffinato situato nel centro del paese. menù degustazione profondamente rispettoso della tradizione mantovana. Abbiamo apprezzato ogni portata, cucinata con grande consapevolezza e conoscenza delle ricette locali. Ho trovato i tortelli di zucca con grana padano, in pasta fatta a mano una vera esplosione di gusto. Servizio molto attento e professionale.

E’ stata una piacevole sorpresa, non mi aspettavo uno scrigno simile, avevo cercato su google un ristorante per un pranzo all ultimo minuto, ed ho scelto il primo che mi è apparso. L interno e’ luminoso, pulitissimo e molto piacevole alla vista. Il menù prevede poche portate ma di una qualità alta e ottimamente presentate. La cantina è molto ben fornita ed i prezzi delle bottiglie sono accessibili. Il personale di sala è cordiale e preparato, la chef è simpaticissima e molto preparata. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo quando saremo in zona.
