A very well-maintained restaurant and excellent food with thoughtful and balanced pairings. The wait staff is extremely friendly! They also pay special attention to food intolerances, with several gluten-free options available.

The atmosphere, typical of an old Romagna tavern, won us over immediately. Overall, we ate and drank well. The dishes we chose were rich and filling, but (personal taste) they didn't make us say "wow." The service was excellent, with attentive and kind staff. I didn't give it full marks only because the woman serving us assumed my companion should taste the wine, but I chose it myself. A forgivable mistake. One point less for the flaky piada... I admit I've never had it before, but it tasted very dry. The bread, however, was excellent, well-hydrated, well-leavened, and crispy with a nicely airy crumb. It's definitely worth it.

My wife and I set out from Bologna for lunch at this osteria, discovered thanks to an inspiring video.
We booked well in advance, arrived, and found parking right at the entrance to the town, just before the ZTL (limited traffic zone). A short stroll through the village—with a fantastic view of Rimini and San Marino's Mount Titano—and we reached the osteria.
We chose the €55 tasting menu (drinks not included) and had a wonderful time. The background music was pleasant, and the interior has a rustic feel but attention to detail: updated just enough to convey warmth and make you feel at home, with a touch of class that doesn't go unnoticed.
I've included the tasting dishes in the photo: my favorite was the sweetbreads in pomegranate sauce, truly special—a flavor that will always remain with me forever.
The dish I wasn't so keen on (though my wife loved it) was the melt-in-the-mouth Jerusalem artichoke with hollandaise sauce and black garlic: probably a matter of personal taste, as I'm not used to such intense, acidic flavors.
A special mention goes to the first course with sea snails: it took me back for a moment to my childhood, to a summer on the Riviera with my parents. My father used to cook them, and as I tasted them, I felt like I was there again, at that table, with that light coming in from the window.
Needless to say, I highly recommend it...
