Osteria da Menghi In Monte colombo

We went to this place with our 3 ½ year old son one day after Christmas, without a reservation, because we were returning from a morning in the snow in Carpegna. The owner is super helpful and kind in everything. The menu is a la cart or there are fixed menus of both meat and fish, those chosen by us. The good dishes are very abundant, in fact we took the second courses of our 2 menus home and eaten for dinner. The fish appetizer which included Spanish beans, tuna and onion, and the prawns in pink sauce, even though I love them both, are very 80's, instead the first courses, mine the stringoli with 2 people ate mantis shrimp and they were excellent! We spent on 1 water, 2 complete fish menus costing €25 each, 1 first course tagliatelle with meat sauce for the little one, but it was a portion for at least 1 ½ adults + coffee €60. Good price, good food, excellent staff, we will definitely be back! We recommend booking because the place inside is very small!

I've been going for a long time and have always had a great time. Today at lunch unfortunately I had a disappointing experience with the food and the bill. I wondered, has something or someone changed in the kitchen? Who knows but I think so. The management of the service and the cash register has changed... yes. Mixed fried fish has always been the best, today it was inedible RAW. I would add that a mixed fried fish costs €19 but if the fish had been cooked they would have been well spent. Although the girl who served was courteous (she replied that she was sorry that the fried food was raw🤦🏻‍♀️), she then made a big mess with the bill. Great authentic Italian place to eat. Very friendly owner and really amazing food, authentic Italian experience. Will come back here 100% next year! Ciao ragazzi!

Trovato su internet per puro caso..l’ultimo giorno di vacanza a Rimini diciamo di visitare la colina e di mangiare in un posto tipico della zona ..Osteria veramente bella e accogliente il signore che ci ha accolti è serviti veramente molto professionale e educato..parliamo di cibo??che dire sarebbe da descrivere ogni cosa che abbiamo mangiato però la descrizione migliore sarebbe SPETTACOLARE tutto molto molto buono cucina semplice ma cucinato con molta professionalità..qualità prezzo ottimo..lo consiglio vivamente..rimarrete molto soddisfatti..Quando ritorniamo a Rimini e il primo posto dove andremo a mangiare 😋😋
