I've been there twice, the food is truly delicious. I'm glad I brought my family this evening because I was truly satisfied. The first course of the day was impeccable. A sincere thank you for the attentive and friendly service, first and foremost to Matilde and then to Ali. I highly recommend it.

This is just such a nice place to eat. Food was extremely delicious - we loved it. Very fair pricing. Such nice chef and waiters! If youre looking for an authentic rome-like dinner with great value - we recommend coming here!

The best pasta I've had in all of Italy was here. Excellent in every way, delicious food, good prices, and especially excellent service from the people who bring the place to life. I'm grateful to have found this place and to have met the people who run it. Special thanks to Esteban and Matilde; it was a pleasure to meet them. I'll always come back.

All in all, a good osteria with traditional dishes served with attention to detail, along with some more fusion dishes... the atmosphere is typical of an osteria, simple and informal, and the portions are generous. I really enjoyed the tonnarello cacio e menta e peperone crusco, both ground and chopped... truly balanced and tasty. The boiled meatballs were good, but I've had better! I recommend it if you're in the area.

Trattoria nel cuore di San Lorenzo. Posta sull'angolo di una piazzetta. Difficile non lasciare 5 stelle a questa Osteria. Gentilezza e accoglienza fanno da contorno a una cucina eccellente con piatti romani tradizionali e qualche tocco di originalità. Ottimi gli antipasti. Superlativa la gricia come la carbonara e la matriciana. Personalmente ho voluto provare la coda alla vaccinara. Unica!!! Non cambiate!!!!

28/09/2025: We discovered Osteria 22Quattro almost by chance, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The restaurant is cozy, intimate, and meticulously crafted. For this reason, we highly recommend reservations, as seating is limited and it fills up quickly. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, perfect for both a romantic dinner or a quiet evening with friends. The food is its true strength. The meat is truly fantastic: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a flavor that captivates from the first bite. You can sense the attention to the quality of the ingredients and the passion of the chefs. The appetizers are also excellent, carefully presented and rich in flavor, enhancing the traditional flavors without ever being banal. Each course is served promptly and accompanied by clear and friendly explanations. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to recommend the best dish or the ideal pairing. All this makes for a pleasant experience from start to finish. Osteria 22Quattro is definitely worth a visit if you enjoy good food in a simple yet elegant setting. We'll definitely be back and recommend it without hesitation!

05/10/2025: After reading the reviews, I decided to try this typical Roman osteria. The welcome was warm, the staff were incredibly friendly, and above all, the food was authentic Roman. Highly recommended. Reservations are always best in the evening.
