this place is exactly what we were looking for. awesome lowkey wine bar - full of locals. we sat down had a few non-alcoholic and alcoholic cocktails, played a few rounds of chess and called it a night. music was nice, drinks were fast and the food was great. we have saved it for our next visit. would recommend 11/10.

We had such a great time at Osteria da Filo, the atmosphere is awesome and the bartenders were friendly. Our drinks were great and the polpette was delectable!

04/03/2026: The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. They can accommodate large groups. I had the seafood spaghetti.
27/02/2026: We had a wonderful meal here last night, just down the street from our hotel near the Theatre of. Venice. The aperol spritzes were the tastiest we’ve ever had! I loved my pasta with pesto, and my husband had the sole with lemon sauce. The server painstakingly deboned it at the table, which was very interesting. He said it was the best lemon sauce he’s ever had, and the fish itself was also delicious. Then they gave us free limoncello at the end. The servers were excellent, and it was a friendly atmosphere. We walked in without a reservation in late February, but it’s probably best to reserve in high season. Our best meal in our 3 days in Venice- Highly recommended!
