I arrived at this restaurant with a group, we were visiting Lucca. This restaurant was a pleasant surprise.
We ate excellently even though we had little time available.
I discovered some very curious news: Ciribè, the name given to the restaurant, refers to the game that we called: "La lippa" and which was played in the streets a long time ago. Some sort of ancestor of baseball, or something.
The restaurant overlooks the enormous Piazza del Mercato, which is certainly one of the largest squares in Italy. From the restaurant, with a pleasant short walk, you can reach the city center with the most important monuments of the place.

Ciribé is one of those places you absolutely must try, everything they serve is prepared by them (fresh pasta, bread, breadsticks, desserts), excellent raw materials, processed in an excellent way! We went back two days in a row and would go back every week if only we lived in Prato! Honest prices for the quality offered

Good Tuscan starter apart from the coccoli which were terrible
Delicious tomato soup
Other courses.....normal
The side dishes: roast potatoes worth reviewing, they taste like nothing and are too large and therefore not cooked well
The beans were salty perhaps because they were reheated too many times
The coffee almost cold and with a bad taste made with pods and charged 2 euros!
Finally without taking wine and without second course...so just appetizer, first course and a side dish 40 euros and what matters most not completely satisfied
The service however, was excellent!

The inviting menu made me choose this place and my expectations were rewarded. Nice, welcoming and comfortable place. From traditional dishes (stewed sheep) to new ones. I tried the sheep tartare and to say fabulous is an understatement, special. Even the second one (roe deer) did not disappoint, on the contrary. A good bottle of wine accompanied the dinner. Good desserts. Definitely a place to try and try again.

Between an appetizer, two first courses, a second course and two desserts, I must say that my first course and dessert were the dishes I liked the most (the acorn plins and the chocolate cheesecake).
The portions are quite small.
Excellent service and very nice place.

Ciribè trattoria restaurant in the heart of Prato, a welcoming, clean place, where you can breathe an atmosphere of true Tuscan culinary tradition. Refined and quality products. Super recommended for both a business lunch and a dinner with friends. Value for money, Excellent!
