The focus is on meats, from mussels to tripe, mule, and cod, prepared with great attention to flavor and digestibility. Everything is delicious. The side dishes are spectacular: extraordinary beans all'uccelletto, cooked vegetables, and onions, both fresh and cooked. The horseradish pairs perfectly with everything. The red wine is perfect. It doesn't end there: biscuits and various desserts round out the meal (while waiting or paired with slivovitz and all kinds of liqueurs). Prices are fair. The staff are friendly and fast. A place frozen in time (from the 1960s), where you can immerse yourself in that atmosphere while still maintaining the same level of care and cleanliness.
