Excellent service. Rustic style but recently renovated, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The house wine is cheap and of good quality, we only ate cold cuts and first courses but we appreciated everything. I advise.

Recently cheerfully renovated place. Good dishes at a price that is certainly not cheap. Service a little latent and lacking in attention to the customer. Excellent location for the Duomo and Piazza del Campo.

Nella contrada della Tartuca , è un locale ben curato con piacevoli salette interne e possibilità di tavoli sul tranquillo vicolo esterno. Qui puoi trovare ottimi piatti tipici ed eccellenti piatti a base di pesce e crostacei. Freschezza e qualità della materia prima, che è un peccato non assaggiare. Niente di turistico, ma cucina di passione. Servizio cortese, affabile e disponibile. Un grazie particolare per il fuori programma d'assaggio di cruditè di pesce. Prezzo onesto per qualità e servizio. Ci ritorneremo non come turisti, ma come ospiti.

A brilliant little find - we came across this place strolling about. Stopped for lunch, enjoyed the cavern interior. Loved the mixed clientele a tourists, locals, business meetings, families. All the food our group had was fantastic!

09/08/2024: A very pleasant place and excellent cuisine. A great address behind the DUOMO.
06/08/2024: I ate here with friends for lunch twice and dinner once while touring Siena. The food was excellent. For lunch the second time we had the Crostini with Anchovies, Pesto and Burrata Stracciatella ( (Toasted Bread With Anchovies In Parsley Pesto Sauce And Stracciatella Cheese), Tartare di Manzo (Beef Tartare, Chives, and Sweet Paprika Mayonnaise) , and Pici All’ Aglione della Valdichiana e Briciole (Homemade Tuscan Pasta with Garlic, Tomato Sauce and Brean Crumbs) for lunch. the main courses we enjoyed for dinner were: Ossobuco alla Senese, Controfiletto Di Manzo E Cipolla Caramellata (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Caramelized Onions,) and Controfiletto Di Manzo, Olio E Rosmarino (Sliced Beef Sirloin, Oil And Rosemary.) Our sides were Patate al Forno (oven roasted potatoes), Spinaci Saltati (slated spinach). The food, expertly prepared (my complements to the chefs from a fellow chef), the service very friendly, helpful and professional, and the atmosphere of this restaurant could not be beat.

06/08/2024: Cozy place and friendly staff. I highly recommend the pici/tagliatelle with gorgonzola, radicchio and almonds and the mixed platter. Very good value for money!
