simple but tastefully furnished place I would define as very welcoming, the staff very kind and the visit of the chef to the table for a little greeting was very welcome. very special menu! tonight I enjoyed the pappardelle with calamari and the sea bass baguette and coffee mousse. everything was excellent...I'll be back to try the rest

Great, authentic Tuscan cuisine, as well as outstanding fish dishes. Excellent wine selection. A very pleasant atmosphere and competent staff. Highly recommended.

Walk a couple a blocks off the main drag and discover quality food and fair prices. Unlike Nona Gina, this is great food, good wine, attentive service and dining with the locals. Yes, they speak English but it's not a tourist rip off. Try the steak with hazelnut, Chianti reduction and small potatoes. My wife is a light eater so they made her an off-the-menu caprese salad and pasta bolognese for my buddy. If you don't see exactly what you want, ask if it's available. It's a small place which is wonderful! Our waiter made great (and affordable!) wine suggestions. The owner speaks good English and is very visible in the restaurant. Talk to him. He's a great guy. They tell you the chocolate soufflé requires 15 minutes to prepare and it's well worth the wait! Decadent! We're traveling with friends and it was a unanimous vote to eat here two nights in a row!

This is a charming venue. The host was very welcoming and all the service was prompt and courteous. The outdoors table we ate at was covered and on a quiet walkway. We liked the eggplant starter, the Branzino, and the cavatelli with monkfish. I highly recommend an evening here.

Great service. Rustic style restaurant but recently renovated, the atmosphere is quite pleasant. The house wine is cheap and of good quality, we only ate cold cuts and first courses but we enjoyed everything. I recommend this restaurant

Good quality, and excellent fresh pasta

This is such a fun little restaurant, almost hidden away in the centre of Siena! Mario is a funny, genuine guy who isn't trying to rip you off but trying to ensure you have a good meal :) We were seated outside on our request and even though the primavera- chill set in, we had an amazing meal that we barely noticed the shift in temperature! Long story short: be sure to visit this lovely little restaurant in the contrada of Tartuca!

Ci siamo entrati per caso, personale gentile e accogliente, il locale offre sia carne che pesce. Noi abbiamo preso antipasto e primo. Classico tagliere di salumi e uno loro con le melanzane il formaggio e salsa di rucola era amarissimo, poi riso cacio e pepe, in cui il pepe non si sentiva ( noi avevamo chiesto di toglierlo e ci è stato detto che il sapore non si percepiva), scialatielli al ragù di coniglio molto buono e tagliatelle verdi. Servizio veloce e attento. Servizi igienici rispettosi dell’ambiente. Lo consiglio anche per l’accoglienza del personale, che non ho riscontrato in un altro ristorante.

Il Locale è molto carino e accogliente non grandissimo,consiglio di prenotare. Per quando riguardano le portate e il menu veramente ottimo,piatti serviti e curati in modo eccellente. Prezzi nella Media si pranza sulle 35 euro a persona.
