Before getting into the review, I want to tell you a little about myself.
I'm an independent artist and I travel around Italy with my self-published comics. Along the way, I describe and review the places I stay and eat, because I believe the best stories are born from the places and the people who live there.

It wasn't the first time we've been out for lunch, so it was only right that I leave my modest contribution as a reviewer. THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD, so surfers, flock to this WONDERFUL OSTERIA. Well done to everyone, from the really talented girl in the dining room to the kitchen. My compliments again.

We chose this place randomly, at the last minute... and we were incredibly lucky! The food was sensational: every dish we chose from the menu exceeded our expectations. Truly a gem!

A quick lunch because we were passing through Campobasso. Very nice place with multiple floors, fast and efficient service. Top-notch food, the only downside being the wine glass wasn't the best. My wife and I had tortelli in bianco (white pasta) for lunch, and veal cheek for the main course. The price was reasonable. To be honest, the atmosphere is more of an osteria.

A lovely surprise on a winter evening in Campobasso. Beautiful location. Top-notch products. Super professional open kitchen. The service could be improved a bit (when uncorking a bottle of wine, be careful not to get any cork inside the bottle and serve it in glasses! It happened to me, and I asked for a glass change, even though they probably should have replaced the bottle with a new one!). Something to say about the water glasses: a wonderful, very original idea, cutting the bottoms of wine bottles and grinding the edges where your lips rest. But be careful, as after several washes, some glass pieces might come off, so be careful not to cut yourself on the glass. I recommend checking them all and throwing away the "stuck" ones. My whole family and I are convinced, we will definitely be back and will speak highly of them!

A lovely place for dinner; we tried the pasta, which was exquisite. The house wine was excellent. The staff provided very good service.

Located in the characteristic (and long!) underground tunnels of Campobasso, an excellent restaurant with impeccable and precise service.
The food is excellent, with a special mention for the Tintilia-style Stracotto di Guancia...exceptional!!

Incredible quality: impeccable food, service, and staff.
We just returned from lunch. I had two medium-sized dogs with me (a border collie and a Hovawart) after visiting the castle. They welcomed us, even though we hadn't booked, and made sure the dogs had plenty of water.
The pecorino and guanciale in the pasta were divine. The sauce was so good I even mopped up the sauce, which I usually skip. The pork didn't even need a knife; it fell off the bone.
I would definitely go back. Thank you so much.

I found this place by pure chance. We both ordered their platters, and all the products were of excellent quality! Afterwards, we ordered a rosemary tagliata, cooked rare. It was perfectly cooked and the meat was incredibly tender. My mother ordered the tintoria-style stew, and it was also delicious, succulent, and tender. We'll definitely be back.
