Noisy, tavern-like atmosphere, good food but no special highlights, chatty host, overpriced wines. I didn't see any tourists, but I'd say it was touristy.

A timeless trattoria that seems to have stepped out of a chapter of Pinocchio. Simple, flavorful cuisine, untouched by trends and rooted in local tradition, serves no-frills Tuscans who get down to business. The atmosphere and service are informal, bordering on familiar, but this is a well-known feature of the place and is welcomed out of kindness. During mushroom season, it's worth focusing on porcini mushrooms in all their forms.

Genuine dishes from the Tuscan tradition but a little expensive, a "Lombard soup" (beans, cooking water and dry bread €14.00) and the whole menu has similar prices.

Excellent grilled porcini mushroom and the classic bean perfect too.
A good honest and not very demanding Chianti.
