We had dinner to celebrate my mother's birthday and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Everything was delicious, divine, and impeccable: food as it once was, refined and authentic; excellent wine, presented with passion and expertise. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable service, both from Mr. Gianni and the waiter, whose name I didn't ask. The pesto (never tasted so good except my mother's!) and the desserts deserve an honorable mention. But truly, everything was "unbeatable"; from the Galantina, "the ancient ham of the noble Ligurians," to the homemade digestifs they kindly offered us at the end of the meal. We had a wonderful time and I can't wait to return. It's nice to see that places like this still exist, where people do what they love. A beautiful family and local story.

What a pleasure it is to still find places where you can eat like at home. If you like authentic food, simplicity, and the friendliness of a host who loves his job and welcomes guests with a smile, entertaining them with anecdotes and secrets of Ligurian cuisine, this is your place... the simple menu, the well-cooked food, without too much fat or ready-made condiments, amazing gnocchi, made as they should be, good potatoes and a little flour, then turned to accommodate the sauce, a traditional antipasto where you can savor the delicate and natural flavor of excellent sweet ingredients, and the price is reasonable. The kitchen is tidy and clean even during service, the pots shine even when they're on the stove, the ladies in the kitchen are attentive and smiling, what more could you ask for? Thank you for making us happy, we'll be back soon.

Dropped in on a moments notice on Sunday for lunch and we were blown away. Extraordinary quality, exceptional dishes, incredible price. Highly recommend stopping in, but best to call and make a reservation.

This was our second visit to Baccicin, and we gladly make the detour on our way home to enjoy a sensational lunch of traditional Ligurian cuisine. Gianni is a wonderful host who remembers each guest and knows their preferences. His wine cellar is extensive, and every drop is a winner. The dishes are all freshly prepared according to time-honored traditions and recipes, and the kitchen is filled with enticing aromas. A must-visit if you're near Genoa!
